...I was trawling through my Avon brochure which I am a big fan of (see Lip Gloss review!!) and came across a product called Sleek lines liquid eye liner. The brochure describes it as: "Smooth, brush-on liquid liner glides on effortlessly without dragging or pulling. Waterproof, budge-proof and long wearing."
This sounded good enough for me, I have never really worn eyeliner and the few times I had it had been a bit of a disaster so I quite happy to ... ...Black, Brown and Plum. I decided to opt for the Black. When the eyeliner arrived I decided to give it a test run. I was due to go out that evening so wanted to check I could use it easily without any mistakes. I was pleasantly surprised.
The eyeliners packaging is navy blue with silver writing. It measures around 3 inches so is a perfect size for handbags and looks just like a felt tip pen. It has a screw on lid and a felt tip style applicator but ...

There is not many Avon products I can fault on, but this is one I will definately never use again.
I was first attracted to this particular eyeliner because it was supposed to last eight hours and was a reasonable price. The product came in a nice pencil and cost £4.00.
The first time I tryed it my eyes felt sore, irritable and began to run. I put this down to first time use, so I disregarded the problem symptoms as I came up with this sensible ... ...was worse and my eyes became really sore. I at this point had no idea why It was causing me so much problems, after all I have never had any problems before with eyeliners. I decided to sharpen the pencil, it broke, so I sharpened it again - it broke. Well I proceeded this act till I had a third of the pencil left.
I applied the gel eyeliner again, still the same reaction so I put it in the best place possible - the BIN!
I will never buy this product ...

Advantages: to many to mention Disadvantages: none that comes to mind
When anyone used to say Avon to me I always used to conjure up the image of old ladies with pots of face cream and more mature people selling it. Those days are long gone and as an Avon representative myself (I am only 28) I use a good majority of the products and if you walk into my bathroom the only brand name products you will find are toilet roll, toothpaste and sanitary towels, everything else from shampoo, bubble bath, deodrant sprays, perfume ... ...something for everyone in the Avon Book (which is available from your local representative (if you dont know who that is you can call Avon direct on 0845 345 8444) and they will help, or you can buy direct from them online at www.avon.uk.com)
The range of products include make up, fragrances, toiletries, skincare, jewellery, lingerie, gifts, videos, kids clothing and toys as well as a wellbeing booklet for vitamins and healthcare items.
I have ...

Advantages: Precision, Long Lasting, Good Price Disadvantages: None
This is a great eyeliner by Avon, and for such a small price - £4.50. Packaging: comes in a small pencil shaped tube, which you twist up at the bottom. At the end of the pencil, it has a coloured band, indicating what coour the eyeliner is. It comes in a black tube, whcih is quite thin, but despite the thinness and size of this tube, it lasts a long time.
Eye Liner: This is quite a soft pencil, but its not to soft to smudge to much, so it's not ... ...look. The liner is quite thin, so it is perfect for lining the inside rim or the top rim. If you cannot apply this to the above eyelid, apply it to the bottom, and if you blink many times, then it will coat on to the underneath lid on the top.
This lasts a long time on the eye and doesn't come off during the day. It is quite easy to remove with soap and water though, so you won't have to mess around with eye irritating make up removers.
Overall ...

Advantages: Easy to apply and reasonable price. Plus a good selection of colours. Disadvantages: em....................................................................................................................
...problem to my friend and Avon representative and she showed me this new product. The Avon colour definition Eye duo.
When I tried it, it was great! No irritating, no sharpening etc. There was a good selection of colours from which you could choose and the eyeliner is 2 in 1. On one side you get the eyeliner and on the other side eyeshadow. Both colours are selected so that they blend and look great together. So you get two for the price of one. ... ...No more worrying about sharpening your eye pencils. It’s suitable for all eyes as far as I am aware and it lasts for a very long time.
I would think this suitable for those with hectic schedules and little time to look good. You can apply it in a few seconds anywhere any time, cause it comes in a very stylish little ‘case’ designed rather like a pen. And if that’s not enough it comes very cheap. I got it as a package deal but individually I think ...
