Advantages: slightly refreshing Disadvantages: doesn't do what it is supposed too
...and was flicking through her Avon catalogue, (don’t have Avon out in the sticks where I live!) when I spotted a new product in the Avon Footworks range. The Gel Scrub with Beads claimed to exfoliate the feet (that’s rubbing off dead skin cells to you and me!) and leave them feeling soft and smooth. As it was on offer at £2.50 (usual price £3.50) I thought I would treat my feet and give it a go.
When the product arrived, my first thought ... ...is clear plastic with the Avon Footworks logo and explanatory writing. The tube has a blue flip-top cap. Have to say, the packaging did not really inspire me as it is really quite plain and boring.
However, the product is the important thing. When you open the lid and squeeze some gel into your hand, you are hit by a strange smell – it smells almost antiseptic to me! I was expecting it too be minty – well, foot products usually are – ...

Avon Footwork’s is one of Avon’s finest ranges; gel scrub with beads is the latest product out. I really rate these products because they are nice to use but really work and show results after a few uses.
It comes in an squeezie tube, which is clear with a blue top and has the Avon Footwork’s logo on it, which is blue with an outline of a foot on it.
The gel is pale green with visible dark green beads. It’s quite runny so ... ...of one tube. It normally costs £3.50, even though this is much cheaper than most body products, at present Avon have put it on a special offer price of £2.00.
This product is only available from your area Avon representative or the Avon website.
