...This is another product from Avon of which I am rather fond.
Avon Black Suede ShowerGel is a light and pleasant fragrance. There is an initial sense of (what??) pine needles? No, not quite pine needles, but there is definitely something there that is quite different. But it soon settles down to a smooth and refreshing fragrance.
It is not over-powering and certainly helps to give you a "I just had a fantastic shower or bath" kind of a feeling.
It is sweet, yet not too sweet. Unlike the Avon Wilderness ShowerGel that I have also reviewed, there is not a hint of traditional fruitiness about Avon Black Suede ShowerGel.
Although it, too, is a certain kind of "woody" scent to it, it is of a different type of woodiness to, say, Avon Wilderness ShowerGel.
There is a sort of under note not of fruits but of cool, running streams...

Advantages: Smells gorgeous!!!!! Disadvantages: small bottle??????
...I love the smell of almonds and was really pleased to find an offer in my Avon Catalogue for Almond flavour products at 3 items for £5.
As I am going on holiday soon and almond products are renowned for their tan saving properties I decided to opt for two showergels and one body lotion.
The packaging is kinda normal for showergel - a semi transparent bottle with a hooked end, the gel itself is a milky coffee colour.
I always use a shower scrunchie to apply the gel and in this case it took very little of the product to create an abundance of almond scented bubbles. It actually contains almond blossom and extract of praline to create the beautiful nutty smell, but beware, use too much and it takes forever to rinse the bubbles away. The bottle only holds 150ml and as the product is not thick and gloopy, one squirt is ample for my shower...

Black Cherry Review ofAvon Black Cherry and Nutmeg ShowerGelby
just.bcoz
...AvonNaturals ~ Black Cherry and Nutmeg ~ ShowerGel
I love Avon's products because they're really cheap and they always seem to have lots of products on special offer. I particularly like the special offers, and whenever I'm looking through the new catalogue I keep my eyes peeled for their special offers so as I can try a new product out at a fraction of the price. In last months Avon catalogue I spotted their Black Cherry and Nutmeg ShowerGel which was half price and only cost £1.25 for a 100ml bottle. I love Cherries, anything which tastes or smells like cherries; so this showergel was perfect for me. I knew I would certainly love the smell of it, I just had to try it out and see if I liked the showergel or not.
The picture of the Black Cherry and Nutmeg packaging at the top of this page is somewhat incorrect...

Being someone who is unfortunate enough to have very sensitive skin. I have to be very careful using such things as shower gel. I have tried many different types and cannot really say that I have ever found one that I would swear by, that is until now.... more
