I absolutly love this product! I am one of those people that get in the shower every day to be clean, not for enjoyment. So, i rarely used anything on my hair other than shampoo, as i couldnt be... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none at all

After numerous years of struggling with knots and tangles in my freshly washed hair - I was about to lost the rag with my hair and shave it all off when I discover this miracle product. My salvation came to me through my letterbox believe it or not - in the form of an Avon brochure. Whist having a flick through the brochure - This LEAVE IN TREATMENT SPRAY caught my eye among the numerous other hair products. It promised to condition and strengthen my hair. At £2.49 it was a bargain if it could do all it claimed it would do. So I decided to give it a go and ordered a bottle. This Leave In ... more

Advantages Advantages Flattens down flyaway hairs, smells lovely

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can only get it through Avon

On Monday, I was blessed by the lovely Avon with a free bottle of Advance Techniques Salon Therapy Hydrating Leave in Conditioner (bit of a mouth full eh). So I gave it a go last night. It is a spray bottle, so I wasn't expecting much as I've found a lot of leave in conditioner sprays to sort of stick your hair together so it doesn't flow properly, kind of like hair spray. I tend to use the serum type hair products....with having quite big flyaway hair. The bottle says it is for dry hair....but my hair isn't particularly dry, but hey it was free. After shampooing and conditioning my hair, I ... more

Advantages Advantages Leaves hair soft and glossy.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not available in the shops.

My hair. An eternal problem for me it seems. Let me explain about my hair. It's not straight. It's not curly. Oh and it's not long enough - I've been growing it for what seems like an eternity and it is now down to shoulder length. I seem to spend an age trying to get that sleek glossy look and believe me, there isn't much I haven't tried. My bathroom is a testament to that, judging by the amount of lotions and potions for my hair in there! Recently though, things have got a little better on the hair front. Firstly, I suppose the fact that it is getting longer (finally!!) is an advantage and ... more

Advantages Advantages good price, quick to use, lovely smell, lasts ages

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

Recently, an Avon rep gave me a free bottle of their Advance Techniques leave-in conditioner as a gift for such a great order (an obscene amount of money was spent that month, but we won't go into that!!). I have used many many different conditioners, all without success. I have quite fine, long, flyaway hair, and it usually goes horribly frizzy and tatty after washing it. It's very easy to use, simply spray on your hair after washing, comb through and dry or style your hair as normal. When I began to spray, I noticed the lovely smell it has, it reminded me of summer holidays, a kind of ... more

Advantages Advantages Good value at the price I paid, it works!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not available from shops - Avon is by catalogue or online

I dunno, if I’m not writing about wine I seem to be writing about hair products – I do use and do other things – honest! In my last opinion about a leave-in hair conditioner I explained about my hairs’ needs so I’ll be brief on that suffice to say it’s far from in its natural state! Years ago I used to use Salon Selectives leave-in conditioner which was excellent but on trying to find it in the shops recently for the first time in a few years it appears to have been discontinued so I am currently on a mission to find an adequate alternative. My last purchase was a disaster but I’ve struck a ... more
