When I first started out as an Avon Rep, I was very wary of the perfumes, I’d always thought of them as being more suitable for older people, and definitely not for me. I soon discovered a lot of the perfumes were really nice, the perfumes that Avon sell vary, there are perfumes for the mature lady, but they also sell perfume suitable for teenagers, and younger women. The best way to find out what you prefer without spending a fortune is to ask your Rep for a sample, they will either let you have a smell of their own demonstration bottle or give you a small vial to try yourself.
Little Black Dress is aimed at women who want a little sophistication added to their day. The idea is the same as that ‘little black dress’ you have in your wardrobe, that’s perfect for every occasion, goes with anything, and always looks great. Avon have come up with the same idea in the form of a perfume.

I haven’t a clue what Milkwood Accord is, but it obviously mixes in with the other scents well!
The perfume last quite well, I apply it in the morning, and it’s still there at the end of the day, obviously if you want it more noticeable you will need to reapply it throughout the day. The perfume is quite light and very feminine, it’s subtle enough for during the day if you like it enough, but to be honest I prefer it more as an evening smell. It’s quite a classic sort of smell, and im sure it’ll last in the Avon brochure.
It’s great for a night out…..especially if you’re wearing your little black dress! It’s suitable for women of any age, im 19, and I love it, my mams 49, and I know she has a bottle too! So there’s not specific age…it’s great for everyone.
There are also matching product available, including, body spray and shower gel, keep an eye out in your Avon brochure for special offers on the range.

...out with the girls. Now, Avon has now brought out a parfum to compliment the dress and ‘Surprise Surprise’ it is called, wait for it, ‘Little Black Dress’.
I really like this parfum. ‘Little Black Dress’ is a flirtatious eau de parfum. It is subtle but lingers on the skin, changing its aroma as the top notes disappears leaving a musky, some may even say sexy aroma! ‘Little Black Dress’ is a modern smell and in my opinion will become a classic Avon ... ...of the little black number, Avon has captured this same sense of self-confidence and poise in its new aroma. Therefore you lad out there may consider this perfume for your loved one. Order it now so that it will arrive in time for Valentines Day on the 14th February. It will go down a treat especially if you take them for a meal too!
If you find that you do not like the aroma of ‘Little Black Dress’ simply return this product to your Avon representative ...

The ingredients are Honeysuckle, Apricot Blossom, Cyclamen and Ginger, these are the topnotes.
In the middle you can smell Peony, Gardenia, Moonflower, and Jasmine.
The bottom notes are Sandalwood, Cashmere, Musk and Milkwood Accord.
I can smell the Sandalwood and the Musk, to be honest I don't know what Milkwood Accord is.

Yes, another Avon product, another perfume review…
Well, this Eau de Parfum spray (known as ‘perfume’ from now on, okay?) is called Little Black Dress. As we all know, every woman has apparently a little black dress she pulls out the wardrobe for those Christmas parties. (Not me though, I’m more likely to go to my kids’ school disco!) The perfume is aimed at this market, the tagline being ‘Every woman should possess ... ...a free sample from my Avon lady, so I didn’t buy it. But of course, these samples are hopefully going to convince you that this is THE scent you want, need and desire.
When you buy the 50ml version of this, it comes in a see-through glass bottle with a gold and black top. The name of the perfume is on the front in a small lower-case black font. At best, it looks ordinary, at worst – B-O-R-I-N-G! It is priced at £12 in the latest Avon ...

...was a firm believer that Avon products were for Little Old Ladies with a Blue rinse. I have recently become an Avon Rep and discovered just how much things have changed.
I was only interested in the cosmetics and bubble baths, but now I am a wearer of anything Avon and am a total convert when it comes to scents.
When the Little Black Dress perfume was launched I decided to bite the bullet and part with my £12 and try a bottle. The Bottle itself ... ...not smell as I remembered Avon products to smell. The disadvantage was that the smell did not last for a great deal of time.
The next time I used more of the perfume and used it as a delicate body spray. The effect of this was lovely and I have been met with many comments as to the lovely smell. This may make the product an expensive body spray but you still only use a little and with wearing mune most days I am only 1/3 of the way down the bottle.

I first smelt avonlittleblackdress when my sister had bought the body spray .
I liked the smell but body sprays can sometimes bring me out in a rash .
In the littleblackdress range you can buy the body spray, body cream , perfume, and moisturising bath and shower gel.
I deceided to try the shower gel first , i bought it when it was on half price 1.50 instead of 3.00 but with avon you will found they always seem to have offers on which is great .
The shower gel comes in a clear 150ml tube , its got littleblackdress on the front of the tube wrote in gold with a gold square round it .
its got a black screw on lid.
It lathers really well especialy if you put it on a sponge , and the smell is lovely , its a floral smell , and i,m sure i can smell apricot.
It moisturises ...

I got a sample of the EdP with a catalogue when the fragrance first came out, and people commented on it. So I thought I'd treat myself to some more products from the range.
In the range is the shower gel, body lotion and body spray, which I bought together for £5 (I think they are £3 each normally - but I rarely pay full price with Avon).
As I've said before I love the smell of this and the packaging of the range is black and gold. The shower gel comes in a clear tube with flip top lid and the gel itself is an amber colour.
The flip top makes it easy to use and the gel lathers well and smells divine (have I said that before?), if you have an Avon rep I understand you can ask for testers, which is a great way of testing products ...

Choosing a perfume sounds a relatively easy thing – but it isn’t. Finding a scent you like is a very personal choice. One fragrance might smell great on a tester page or your friend’s wrist, but just doesn’t seem the same on you. Plus do you really want to shell out a tenner or more on a perfume you might not like?
So one good thing about the Avon range is that they have a wide range of perfumes available, plus you can buy plenty of cheaper versions of the scent in different products to check you really do like it. This potentially saves you lots of money.
