Avon Mirror Shine Nail Varnish

Advantages: Great to wear for parties.
Disadvantages: Not too much choice of colour!

When applied to the nails the instructions suggest two applications of colour for best effect, I found that the one coat was thick enough to cover the nail well. For best results, shake the bottle well (I know that this should really go without saying!) and allow the coats to dry well between applications. ...I love shopping with Avon as it is so easy. I like to leaf through the brochures at night when I have insomnia, and I love trying out the new products. ...However, if you paint your nails with the window open, you'll be ok. The application is quite easy, as the nail polish itself is quite thick - note to self, may get gloopy later!! One coat isn't really sufficient though, so allow time for two. It was touch dry within about two mnutes, so it's great if you are in a rush. I got this nail varnish as a free gift, it did however get to choose my colour, Glimmer. I would never have really bought this product, but since it was free it was a good chance to try it out. Application was easy enough, no great problems there. Only thing I was not too keen on was the quickness of the drying, although this may seem strange, it was drying before you had even finished your nail. It does not really have a decent effect with one coat ...
...quickly it can be it or miss whether this will work out okay. It is not very durable at all. It says chip-resistant, but it can chip so easily. I have worn cheapy nail varnishes before and they have lasted longer. But it is not so much the chipping which is unsightly, it literally wears away. ...Cost It costs around a five pounds but sometimes can be purchased as part of 'deal' with other items thus reducing the cost. Quality It does shine! People always comment on the colour. However the chip resistant claim should mention that it might not chip but will wear off near the tip of the nail fairly quickly.
