Advantages: nice smell, gentle on skin Disadvantages: not completely effective as a deodorant
I love Avon products and I also love body sprays, always having a shelf full of them, so I can choose to use different fragrances each day. I have already reviewed the Yassou range, but this time, I am concentrating on the Avon Berry Vanilla Deodorant Body Spray.
This is part of the Naturals range, which consists of a variety of products with fruity fragrances. You can buy shower gels in watermelon, peach or lemon and mandarin. Peppermint ... ...too!
The Avon Berry Vanilla Deodorant Body Spray is currently £1.25, although it usually sells for £2 per 100ml bottle. It is a tall slender pink bottle with a push down spray dispenser on the top. It has the Naturals logo with a drawing of flowers and berries on the front. It is a well designed bottle and looks good, appealing to all ages.

This is part of the Naturals range, which consists of a variety of products with fruity fragrances. You can buy shower gels in watermelon, peach or lemon and mandarin. Peppermint foot lotion might be more your sort of thing or if not, there is a whole range of products in Aloe Vera, Tea Tree or Pear. In the current brochure, these are all half price too!

It has the Naturals logo with a drawing of flowers and berries on the front. It is a well designed bottle and looks good, appealing to all ages.
The bottle describes it as “a gentle deodorising body spray containing raspberry and vanilla extracts known for their soothing properties. Provides all day protection and is non-irritating to skin, suitable for sensitive skin.”
It smells of (as you would expect!) berries and vanilla. It is a nice smell, but it can be a bit overpowering and makes me cough, if I spray too much – so be careful if you are also asthmatic. You should also keep this well away from your mouth or eyes, but it is suitable for spraying on your neck, wrist, arms and armpits.
Although it is described as being a deodorant, it won’t offer you all day protection if you are an adult. It is ideal for pre-teens and young teenagers who just need a light scent to cover any sweaty smells, but otherwise, you will need to wear an extra deodorant as well as this.
It is fine for sensitive skin though, as I have never had any adverse reactions or skin rashes after using this. My eleven year old daughter uses it too, without any problems.
It is a light and refreshing spray, ideal to cool you down if you are hot and sticky after exercise. It will be great to have during the Summer and is light, so easy to pack in your suitcase or handbag.
Overall, I prefer the Yassou body sprays, but this one isn’t bad. It would also make a nice present, perhaps in a set with some of the other products in the Avon Naturals range. There you go, that’s an early tip for Mother’s Day!
Advantages: Can be a good to freshen up your room Disadvantages: Smells like washing up liquid, looks too watery
...street has one to many Avon lady's's so I'm always pressurised into buying Avon products (I'm a push-over). Two of the Avon lady's's in my area have a little rivalry so to keep them both happy I normally buy a small product from each one. I was looking through my Avon booklets as usual, looking for a product to purchase from each lady, I looked at the body spray's and decided I would fork out £1.99 for this little bottle and a body wash from the ... ...my Avon was delivered in about 12 days (it had other products from my family members so don't think I waited that long for one product)with each lady arriving within 2 hours of each other.
As I wasn't in a rush to try the body spray I put it in my room for two days and forgot about it. When I finely remembered about it.....well your have to wait until you move down the page for this.....
WHAT DOES IT SMELL AND LOOK LIKE?

Advantages: Smells fantastic Disadvantages: Very moist
Ummmmm.....
When you think of Berry Vanilla you think fruity, exotic, dreamy..... and thats exactly what you get leaves your body smelling fresh and feeling revitalised.
Gives a cooling affect when sprayed on.
Only disadvantages are 1) Too moist if too much is sprayed on
and 2) Bottle can only be held upright otherwise spray will not come out.
Lasts about 3 to 4 hours which is not good for people who rely on a deodourant that needs good staying ... ...or wherever you are going so you can re-apply whenever desired.
The bottle is rather bulky and is not a good size for people on the go as it takes it a bit of room, it would not fit in a tiny clutch bag .
If they had a roll-on version of this product it would be much better for people who dont have much space to carry their toiletries around in.
It lasted me about 3 weeks and applied it genourosly to my underarms twice a day.
As i mentioned before ...

Advantages: Cheap Disadvantages: Smell dissapears after 5 minutes
I hated this product, as much as the cheap and tacky plastic bottle it was contained in. The smell was ok but maybe a little sweet and sickly and as soon as it had dried on my skin the smell had gone. It was more like coloured water than anything else. It was useless as a deoderant, and useless as a perfume, wasnt really refreshing and definately not soothing. A tip i found was to keep the lid on the bottle, as the spray nozzle sometimes got blocked. ...
