I\'m one of those people that plays with testers, asks people what scent they are wearing and...when visiting other peoples lavatories, I can\'t help but give that tempting little potions bottle a little squirt to sample the delights (and sometimes not so delightful aromas) that it has to offer.
In the past Avon has drawn me in, only for me to find that the products (mainly cosmetics) are as cheap in quality as they are in price. So I was more than pleasantly suprised when I sprayed Avon Naturals Soothing Lavender and Chamomile.
The smell is light and refreshing, a subtle flowery scent that ligers but not in a bad way! Beautiful fragrance to spray onto linen whilst ironing, into drawers or wardrobes or just to freshen up the room. I personally love having a nice fragranced room without overpowering everyone that walks in. I wouldnt say the smell lasts an incredibly long time, but a slight undertone can be detected on clothes if used regularly. One thing that does help me slightly in describing the smell is that it does not strongly smell of Lavender. I dislike the strong smell of Lavender and this spray is far from that! So do not be put off if you are not a fan of Lavender.
One thing I will mention is that I have never had any markings or stains left from this product. The liquid is clear and stays this way!
Bottles can be purchased at £3.50 for 125ml. This does seem a little steep. However, as I write this the avon website offers a deal of 2 for £2.00. This seems much better value. I shopped around at the time and bought mine from someone on ebay for £1.75. 125ml lasts an age, mine is still going after about 5 months! The bottles are plastic and clear so easy to see how much liquid is left and possible to recycle once finished.
- Vanilla and Soy - Coconut and Papaya - Honey and Lemon - Peach and Nutmeg
The only other fragrance that I have tried is the Peach and Nutmeg, (which I was sent accidently) and this is not good! Well it\'s not horrendous, but in comparison to the Lavender and Camomile it is heavy and strong and not terribly \'relaxing\'.
I think this fragrance is wonderful and very affordable. Brilliant to pop in the lav or use to freshen rooms and linens up. I would encourange anyone looking for a product such as this to give this one a go.
