Avon Kids Super Gentle 2-in-1 Shampoo For Normal Hair

I used to be an Avon rep and as such would like to try out new products so I could answer my customers questions. When my daughter was probably about a year and a half I saw the Avon Kids range had come on offer and decided that it was probably about time she finished with the baby shampoo and tried something new.

The full range which consists of shampoo, conditioner, 2 in 1 shampoo, bubble bath and detangling spray is usually about £2.50 each but generally go on offer bringing them down to between £1.50 and £1.75 per item. I would only ever order from the Avon site if you need quite a bit as the postage is £3.50 so really not worth it for just one or two items. The packaging at the point I started using it was that each one had a different coloured bottle with a face on the front and the type written on the feet. Now the range has been revamped all the bottles are the same, orange in colour with a yellow top and the label has a monkey on it.

This 2 in 1 shampoo is watermelon and kiwi frangrance which is does actually smell of and the smell lasts on the hair after it has been washed and dried. The shampoo itself is pink and quite thick and lathers up really well, it also has a no more tears formula and my daughter never complained if suds went in her eyes so that must work. This used to leave my daughters hair silky soft and shiny although as she has grown and so has her hair which has also got alot thicker aswell we found that her hair would still be quite hard to brush after using it. I really liked this range and so did my daughter (the fact that the shampoo was pink) so we used it along with the detangling spray for a while but eventually had to accept that her hair had got too thick and long and this shampoo just wasn't providing enough conditioning for her hair anymore. We have since tried the version of the shampoo for thicker hair and this is a definate improvement so i would have to say that this product is great if you use it on thinner, shorter hair.
