Advantages: Don't have to keep re-applying, waterproof, factor 50 Disadvantages: Quite thick so hard to rub in and tube could be bigger!
Seen as it's July and were having a `heat wave'!! it;s even more important to protect our kids from the sun.
I have, like most parents, tried and tested numerous sun creams, from the really, really expensive to the well, not so expensive that you buy on holiday cos youv'e run out!!. The only, and I mean only, one that I have found to do the job of protecting my kids is the Avon `BronzeKids', Sun Lotion. It's brilliant, not only is it factor 50, but it is fully waterproof, which I can deffinately vouch for as I had a `splodge' of it on my arm, and when getting in the shower about 2 hours later, couldn't remember what this was and could not get it off, I thought I had caught some skin disease!!.
I am so confident that this works that I only have to apply it once to both my children when they are playing in the garden all day ...
Advantages: Reasonable price Disadvantages: Instructions aren't too clear

~~~ The Packaging ~~~
The self tan spray comes in a brown (almost bronze!) 150ml bottle. The bottle is a nice, slightly curvy shape, but it is not the easiest bottle to hold. On the front, 'AVON' is written in gold letters, and below is the slogan 'be Bronze'. Below that in brown is the information: 'Self Tanning LotionSpray - Light/Medium' and then the same again in two other languages. Although this says Light/Medium, I haven't actually seen this in Medium/Dark shades - this doesn't really matter to me as I don't want to go too dark anyway, but some people do! Quite an attractive bottle for the summer!
~~~ Application ~~~
Application instructions are on the back of the bottle. I don't know whether it's just me, but Avon instructions always seem to be very vague - either that or they just don't print any instructions at all! Anyway, this is ...
Advantages: A great tan all year round Disadvantages: Squirts like a water gun
a natural looking tan instead of fake.
The colour lasts for a couple of days even after having a bath or shower
The smell is a pleasnt smell but if its not washed of your hands properly it can smell a bit musky so i would advise people to wear some plastic gloves, i wore gloves so i wouldn't no about the orange hands.
The spraylotion comes in a 150ml bronze colour bottle with a spary neck which also can be sprayed upside down but i would'nt advise that as it doesn't spay properly its more like a kids water gun.
At the moment it is £10 but you can buy an item and get one free you recive the lowest item free.
The self tanning lotion which i haven't used so can't really say much about comes in 150ml bottle just like a normal sun screen bottle, this comes in two colours light/medium and medium/dark the price of this is approx £8.
