Advantages: The best face cream ever! Disadvantages: The cost
I am an enthusiast of Avon products. As a child I remember hearing that Avon tested cosmetics on animals, but today it is a different story. The advertising states that they do not test their cosmetics on animals, so in theory they should be safe to be used by vegetarians. (Good, as I am a ‘veggie). Avon Anew RetroActive comes in pale green glass jar. Once the thick white cream is applied, the skin feels instantly softens the skin and gives it a healthy glow which seems to last all day, when use with my regular moisture cream and the cream has a pleasant smell too. So when Avon launched Anew RetroActive Face Cream a few months ago (well it must be nearly a year now) I was reluctant to try it, not because of the fear of animal testing, but due to the price, £15.00! (Well I was a full time student at the time).
I initially tried the 2ml sample, which came in the brochure and I am amazed how good it really is; that was all I needed to become hooked!
Avon Anew RetroActive comes in pale green glass jar. It smells great as well as softening the skin after being exposed to the elements of modern day living. (My partner, Shane likes it a lot!)
The advertising says that the cream can make the skin look younger in seven yes seven days. Avon claims that Anew RetroActive ‘slows the signs of ageing by “reprogramming” your skin to think it is younger’. I am not really sure how true this statement is but Anew RetroActive seems to allow make-up to sit better on the skin and reduces patches of foundation that often occur when using a moisturiser. Prima magazine says about Anew RetroActive that it 'was voted the winner out of five of the latest moisturising creams tested by five of its readers. "After using this for two weeks my skin felt smoother and firmer. I loved the light texture and fresh smell. It claims to 'reprogramme' skin cells to think they are young again, I'm hoping by next summer I'll look 20 again!"
This cream can be used both day and night. At night, it reduces the need for night creams as it acts as a moisturiser, particularly with central heating. During the day the SPF in the cream eliminates the need for sunscreen. This cream seems to repair, restore and revitalises the skin. For best results Anew RetroActive cream should be used as a treatment under other Avon skincare products, thus helping to enhance their effects.

I will be willing to bet that once you try it you too will be hooked (even the men). If you decide to purchase a jar yet find you do not like it, just return it to your representative or directly to Avon for a full money back guarantee.
As an Avon rep I recommended Anew Retroactive to my mum who alway's complains about her age. I suggested she gave it a try but she was very reluctent because of the price and size of the product. I told her that the price indicated that the product was worth every penny but she still did not buy it. I opted for the samples to let her try before buying, this worked a treat, now she swears buy it.
Anew Retroactive comes in a 50ml pot and is priced ... ...product which is meant to slow down the signs of ageing. It works to reprogram the skin so it appears to function more effectively and appear more youthful.
It will instantly make your skin look more healthy and radiant.

Advantages: younger looking skin, free mobile phone while stocks last Disadvantages: the price
...come to my attention that avon cannot cope with demand and some people are being left without a voucher.
The cream comes in a very pale bluey-green-aquamarine coloured glass tub and at a price of £15 per 50ml pot you do not get much for your money. The pot is quite attractive with a screw top lid which has a small silver stripe around the bottom and the writing on the glass pot tells you about the cream.
It is part of Avon Cosmetics ANEW range ... ...skin does feel softer. Avon claims that with continued use your skin will not show its true age again - so we'll just have to wait and see.
Avon have a whole range of anew products ranging from cleansers to different face creams suitable for a whole range of ages. Maybe as I get older I'll try more of them.
Also if you spend £15 or more on the anew range in Brochure5 you get a voucher which you take along to your local Orange shop and you can swap ...

...So when my local Avon Lady dropped the brochure off I decided to treat myself to their Anew RetroActive Cream. It claimed to "visibly reverse the signs of ageing" and contains something called "Rejuvi-cell technology". At the time there was a special offer on whereby you received a free goody bag of perfume, lipstick and some other bits and pieces which actually came to more than the cream. In for a penny, in for a pound, I thought - and at £15 a ... ...every penny. However, after using it for a few months now I can honestly say my face looks a whole lot better. The cream feels a bit thick when you apply it - and takes a little while to be absorbed, so I tend to use it at night. You can use it as a moisuriser at night or under daytime moisturisers as well. My skin feels so much smoother, and is not as dull looking. It feels softer and my face seems to look a lot less "tired" and more "alive". I ...

...I put it on - even when I used it at night my skin didnt have that dry,tight feeling in the morning. Its at thep pricier end of the Avon range but is still a brilliant product when compared with some of the sillier prices of the other cosmetic houses. ...

When the Avon lady was giving out Retroactive Face Cream, I thought wait I'll get a sample for my mum. She's always after products to make herself younger. She normally uses Oil of Olay which is quite expensive. Well, anyway I gave her the sample and after a couple of weeks of using it, she did think her face was more smoother, and the complexion was much more fresh looking rather than worn out.
