Avon Naturals Tea Tree Blemish Stick a product from the Avon’s Naturals range, which is designed to “zap” those, dreaded spots and blemishes that we all tend to get, at any age and usually at the most inopportune times. It is a product that has been made Avon around since the early days of the Tea Tree Naturals range. I had one come up the day before I was due to leave for my holiday to Tenerife. Help! This product proved to be indispensable for me.
*Now for the piece of useless (or useful) information* I wonder if you are aware that the Tea Tree is a native plant that comes from the Australian outback and has been known for its antiseptic properties for a long time, so is great for the skin with “outbreaks”! The Tea Tree oil within this product is designed to help clean and refresh the skin. It can now be found in many medical treatments too now, including treating MRSA in hospitals.
**Aroma**
The aroma is distinctive with that of any other Tea Tree product. Once you have smelt it once you will always remember it! The aroma of Tea Tree reminds me of the autumn, when the leaves are beginning to decay, you know that healthy woody smell. It is great for the male in your life to use as it is not a girlie smell either, thus in my opinion making this product asexual skin care product to have in the bathroom cabinet for those dreaded emergencies. SPOT! There is a hint of alcohol too but that is not too strong, but helps to dry the skin.
**How and When To Apply**
The applicator is a plastic semi-hard wand like stick. It is easy to apply directly on the effected area of skin. On side is rounded but there is a flat side to help with the application of gel. Apply directly to the effected skin at nighttime and allow to dry (up to five minutes depending on how much you apply to the skin). The lotion/gel is a little cold on the skin until the alcohol evaporates and it gently warms to the skin temperature. In the morning the blemish should have dried out. The instructions recommend re-application as necessary every two-three hours. I personally feel that this product works well on one direct application, but remember you can re-apply to effected skin until the spot has disappeared.
(One word of warning this product dries the skin so avoid application to very dry or sunburnt areas of skin).
**Packaging**
This is simple uncomplicated packaging found in the Naturals range. This skin treatment is a simple tube with a stylised drawing of a Tea Tree on a clear tube with green contents and a black screw lid.
**Cost**
This product comes in one size only. £2.75 for 7mls tube. The tube may seem small. But you only need a tiny amount to be effective on those annoying spots and blemishes.

Advantages: Dries up those nasty spots. Disadvantages: Less affective after a few months.
...I was recommended by an avon customer of mine to try this blemish stick as she had just ordered one, so I thought I'd give it a go.
*What is Tea Tree?*
According to the Avon website Tea Tree is a native plant from the Australian outback. It is used in products today because of it's antiseptic qualities.
*The packaging*
When it arrived my first thought was that it was very small, it comes in a box not 2 inches long and about 2cm wide, it's bright ... ...I am no longer an Avon representative due to going back to college, I asked another rep to return it for me, and she said there would be no problem in exchanging it. Avon have a 'no questions asked' returns policy, therefore I should recieve a replacement within the next week. This is a huge bonus in dealing with Avon.
The blemish stick is part of the 'Naturals' collection at avon which also has shampoo, conditioner, facial wash, cleanser, foot ...

Advantages: Dries up spots really well Disadvantages: None!
...When I saw the avon tea tree stick at half price (usually £2.75 for 7ml), I couldn't resist.
In a small, handy, easy to use bottle, the tea tree stick can be carried with you, so that you can zap the spot the minute it pops its ugly little head through your skin.
A tingling sensation follows application, so you feel confident that the tea tree has entered your skin and is working it's magic. I usually apply it at night, and when I wake in the morning, ... ...wherever it came from.
Rest assured, that it does not dry up the rest of your skin, so if you have dry skin, it is still a great product. The properties of tea tree are antiseptic, and therefore work to stop the infection spreading. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, even if you don't suffer badly from spots. If dabbed on a spot as soon as you see it, it prevents it from coming out as an ugly white head, and existing spots don't last long! ...

Advantages: Dries out spots Disadvantages: Doesn't smell anything like tea tree
...easy application. personally, i think avon skimp on the packaging. being a woman and constantly buying skincare products, i know pretty much whats good and whats not. and the quality of packaging reflects on the quality of the product inside. (i would go into detail about how the packaging was manufactured poorly but u wanna know about the stuff inside). well for one, with avon products u can never see it until u've given ur money away. i think its ... ...a difference. however i think avon make up for that with their cheap prices. when i unscrewed the blemish stick the first thing i did was take a whiff. i was expecting the usual herbal smell of tea tree but instead....chemicals! totally put me off. i usually enjoy the smell of tea tree oil because its so soothing. but this blemish stick smelt a lot like this medication my GP once gave me called Zynerit. it was used especially for mild acne and i ...
