I requested this product category, because I LOVE these and just had to tell you about them! I currently own five and have them sat on my shelf, so I can choose which to use each morning. What am I rambling on about? Avon YASSOU perfumed body sprays. Read on…
I think smelling nice is essential, so I love body sprays. I also have a preference for fruity fragrances which is where these really come into their own.
They are also cheap and there are often special offers on this product. I bought one for 79p in December, then three for £5 earlier this month.
Each body spray contains 75ml. They are in brightly coloured containers, long and thin with matching coloured tops. Each one has a flower or fruit on the front, following the theme of that particular fragrance.
I have bought six or seven of these and the only one I wasn’t keen on was the lilac fragrance. The others are gorgeous. I’ll tell you about the ones I have here at the moment.
In the yellow bottle, we have PETAL POWER. This is quite sweet, light and smells very much like a perfume and of course, can be used either as a perfume or as a deodorant.
The red bottle contains BERRY APPLEBERRY, which is my favourite design, I love the red with the strawberry and apple pictures! It does smell of berries, predominantly strawberry, but again it is a light, sweet, gentle smell.
The bright orange one is called CITRUS COMMOTION, which smells like oranges to me – not like oranges themselves smell, but more like the oil of orange you might find in shampoos. Again, it is very pleasant and not too overpowering, but nice and fruity.
The peach coloured bottle contains PARADISE PEACH, which was my first purchase in this range and the one that inspired me to buy more. This is quite heady perfume, but with a definite peach kick in there.
Finally in my collection at the moment is the silver bottle of MYSTICAL MUSK. This is also more of a perfume and less fruity, along with Petal Power. It is a lovely scent and smells great too. (So do I now, after spraying all those on me!)
So as you can see, there is something for everyone really there – well, maybe not men, I think this is a woman’s range really, but for any age. My daughter has used these too and thinks they are great. They don’t sting or cause any skin irritation either.
There aren’t really many disadvantages to this product in my opinion, except that they aren’t really strong enough to use as an all day deodorant. I usually find it best to wear something like Sure as my main deodorant, then spraying one of these on my arms and neck as a light perfume. But they are fine as a deodorant for just a few hours – or all day, if you are younger and don’t sweat much yet.
They are light and don’t take up much room, so they are ideal for taking out with you in your bag or packing in your suitcase for a holiday. They look very stylish too with bright, vibrant colours and pretty designs.
For as little as 79p each, you really can’t go wrong with these Yassou body sprays. I suggest you stock up like I have, then see if you feel musky or fruity in the morning!
