The six axis controller by sony is a very good device that has been used to good effect. The six axis allows you to make movements during gameplay. When you make a certain movement during gameplay the console will sense the movement and do the appropriate reaction. For people who don't want this feature you can also turn off this feature on most games for the ps3.
The six axis can be comapred to the wii remote by nintendo. The wii remote is used more in game play since it is a main feature of the wii console but the six axis is a better variation to teh wii remote due to you can turn off the motion sensor if you find it annoying during gameplay. In conclusion sony have done well to make the six axis fun to use with the motion sensor and easy to turn off and on in most games. Superb!!! ...
Advantages: Consistent, All main effects (scratch + key lock that WORKS) Disadvantages: No built in memory
I dj 2-3 times a week and often take my equipment in and out of venues so I need equipment that is durable and reliable. Ive had a pair of axis 9's for a few years now. They have turned out to be quite reliable and consistent where more expensive models weren't .. very important if you dj'ing at a gig.
If you are a laptop Dj the Axis 9's works fine with all the major software, VDJ, Rockit, Traktor etc.
There are some new features on the axis 9's along with all the standard feature on the axis series. Pitch-lock (called key-lock on numarks) is one of the most useful features I use and in my opinion axis 9's do this much better than others in a similar price range like 1200DZ or CDJ 200. They have very decent effects that are really easy to use, most notably, the scratch function which is a direct improvement from previous models like ...

Advantages: +Lightweight +Great battery life +Motion-sensing Disadvantages: -No rumble
The SixAxis controller is the standard controller for the PS3 at the moment. In the east (and possibly America) a new version has been released which has a rumble feature. This product will be out in the UK around about springtime. The current model lacks rumble capabilities. This may seem a bad thing, but you really do get used to it, I don't miss rumble at all now although I might buy the dualshock3 (the rumble version) when it comes out in the spring, as it's bound to add a bit to the experience of playing a game, but its nothing major. The lack of rumble is the ONLY possible negative I can think of for the sixaxis, although as it doesn’t affect me much I don’t really see it as a negative (although some might)
The controller uses bluetooth to connect to the ps3, you plug it into the ps3 by the lead, press a button in ...
