Call time on the Tweenies
Advantages: Bright and eye-catching with catchy tunes for kids Disadvantages: The puppets whine non-stop (and of course it drives parents mad!)
...think are great - The Tweenies is not one of them. If my son turned into the whining, bickering self-pitying fools that we see on the Tweenies, I would through my hands up in the air and give up now. I find there to be very little value to be gained or learnt from the Tweenies for my son. The messages and lessons, although very positive tend to get missed in all the noise and uproar and more often than not my son gets bored and wanders off before ... ...The songs, although catchy are also repetative and quite unimaginative.
My son watches tv usually before bed as a way of winding down (I am sure I am not alone on this one) and unfortunately the Tweenies doesn't offer him anything of substance to endear him to the show. ...

Everyone Say Eh Oh
Advantages: Keeps The Kids Occupied! Disadvantages: Drives Parents Mad!
...perhaps in someway the teletubbies made their illness easier for them to cope with and the parents were able to communicate with their kids. I don't expect evryone to agree with what I have said but this is a personal review and so these are merely my opinions ...

The brothers Chuckle.... and they will make..?
Advantages: great harmless comedy for everyone Disadvantages: no series DVD release as yet..???
Most people would have heard of these brothers but not many would admit to liking the duos wacky sense of humour, (although I defy anyone who watches them not too giggle at least once…!?)
They are probably the funniest comic partnership on the scene at the present time, especially for the fact that they are probably the only comedians who can raise a titter without using foul language or by slating others… they simply have an amazing ability to ... ...* The Brothers were born in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, England in the 1940s, under the surname of Elliot… Paul on Christmas eve in 1943 and Barry on the 18th of October in 1947.
* Paul is the taller of the two who, for some reason, really thinks he is skilled at everything he does, from carpentry to ship painting, but unfortunately his skills are not quite as good as he thinks… although that doesn't stop him in trying, (and failing…!).
* Barry ...

In the dolally garden!
Advantages: 20 minutes long Disadvantages: strange
In the night garden is one of those very annoying childrens programmes that will get on most adults nerves but appeals to all children everywhere! The programme consists of a group of very odd characters that are clearly deranged! The characters are basically people in big costumes that are obviously sweating there butts off inside these outfits! The whole thing is very similar to the Teletubbies but there is much more to see and do as there are ... ...a few vehicles that feature in the show to enable the characters to get around; The Nicky Nonk and The Pinky Ponk. The whole thing is rather strange and the storylines consist of things like Upsy Daisy getting lost or Makka Pakka wanting to clean everything in sight much like my mother! They are very simple but seem to capture Noah's imagination and he sits staring at the screen mesmerized. I find the whole thing boring and especially hate the narrator's ...

What's the story, Mory Glory!
Advantages: Entertaining for young and old Disadvantages: stopped making them in 2005
...fictional Scottish fishing port of Balamory (I do believe it was filmed on location in the real-life village of Tobamory). There's a different story line every episode which threads together a selection of the cast members who clearly live in each others pockets. Conveniently they all live in distinctive coloured houses, and even tend to dress in the same colours as their houses, like some kind of chameleon tribute act. There's a nursery school teacher, ... ...some of the characters to Balamory has also always vexed me - Spencer's journey from art and music loving american socialite to a tiny orange house in back of beyondsville has never been fully explored - I'm told they even swapped out the original Jose Jump in series 2…did they not think the kids would notice!!
And lastly, how on earth did Archie get planning permission for his giant pink erection? ****The Verdict****
Bringing back a wee bit of ...
