Only Fools And Horses

Advantages: Humours , Entertaining , Never gets boring
Disadvantages: -

What is Only Fools And Horses ? Only Fools and Horses is a very famous bristish sitcom which was set between the 1980's and the early 2000 ' s. The comedy is set in north - London , where the main characters council flat was built. Although , at the early start of this great program , the flat was indeed used in London , but later on had to be filmed at a similar buliding due to complaints from the locals. Only Fools And Horses is of two brothers ...
...same goal of becoming millionaires. It one particular episode , they do eventually become milllionaires , which is then lost due to the stock market crashing. They both work for thier own shared company "Trotters Independent Traders". The fly pitching bussiness is not so successfull so Later , Rodney decides to use his GCSE knowledge wisely by taking up a career in Computing, but later gets the sack. A CUNNING PLAN !

Advantages: Very Funny, now on uktv gold
Disadvantages: There aren't any more

I have a cunning plan ……………………..the Blackadder maxim handed down through the centuries from the medieval Prince Edmund Blackadder in series 1, to the cowardly captain Edmund Blackadder, in Blackadder goes forth were the dynasty finally meets its nemesis in the trenches of the first world war. I have an even more cunning plan lets take a unmitigated blaguard, played brilliantly by Rowan Atkinson, give him a faithful sidekick, also superlatively portrayed, ...
...in a fantastical journey through time and dynasty, in a comedic romp though all the great periods of our their dubious history. Do you believe in reincarnation? well if you do I surely hope you don't run into this blackhearted anti-hero on your travels. He's the meanest, dirtiest, low down 'Dick Dastardly' you would ever wish to meet, complete with his very own 'Muttley', in the form of the downtrodden Baldrick, faithful servants of the Blackadder ...

Royal

Advantages: -------
Disadvantages: --------

This is one of the few classic British sitcoms of recent years. Wonderfully written by Caroline Aherne (who was fantastic as chat show host Mrs Merton - a UK version of Dame Edna) and Craig Cash, both of whom star in the show as married couple Denise and Dave. The show centres around the Royle family living room and kitchen and rarely wanders outside of this domain (the 2008 Christmas special, set mostly in Denise and Dave's place, being a noteable ...
...played by wise cracking scouser Ricky Tomlinson) and is mainly found rooted to his armchair, TV remote control welded into his right hand. He is opinionated, lewd, rude and incrediably witty. His long-suffering wife Barbara is played by Sue Johnson (who also appeared alongside Ricky in Brookside many years ago) who is the glue that sticks this dysfunctional family together. Ralf Little played Denise's brother, Antony, who was constantly pestered ...

I would just like to write a review on Fawlty Towers, that great British comedy from the mid 1970's that has become an insititution. It is based on an actual hotel in Torquay that was once stayed in by John Cleese, along with the rest of the cast and crew of Monthy Python a year or two beforehand. Again set in Torquay, the hotel seeks to follow the chaos that can only be created by Basil Fawlty that cannot be found in any otoher person. The main ...
...the owner/ manager of the hotel, he likes to think that he is in control of everything even when it is going wrong and he knows that it is all his fault. He either loves the guests and falls over himself to do thngs for them, or hates them so much it is extremely noticeable. Sybil Fawlty (Prunella Scales): his wife, who almost always proves Basil wrong in some way. Basil hates the fact that she does this, and she is almost as calm as Basil is manic. ...

GONNAE NO DAE THAT

Advantages: Extremely funny
Disadvantages: None

Coming from Scotland, I could not do without writing an opinion of the great show Chewin' The Fat. It stars Greig Hemphill and Ford Kiernan-two of the finest Scottish actors ever and it is absolutely hilarious. Everywhere you go in Scotland you hear the various catchphrases like, GONNAE NO DAE THAT!!!!!, OOOOHHHHH THE BANTER!!!! and HOI!! WE'RE ON THE NIGHTSHIFT!!!!! I have recently bought the Chewin The Fat DVD box set which has every Chewin The ...
...also go behind the scenes to see just how this fantastic show is made. I got all of this for 56ukp and would recommend it to all. I think you really have to come from Scotland like myself(SCOTLAND THE BRAVE!!!) to appreciate the craft of these two fantastic actors. It would be quitte hard to understand it if you were not Scottish as it is based on life in Glasgow. ...
