Bring on the wall!!
Advantages: Entertaining Disadvantages: Repetitive
...Winton, and first aired on BBC1 in September 2008 spanned 10 30 minute episodes making up series 1. The Teams --------- The gameshow is made up of 2 teams of 3 celbrities captained by Anton du Beke (Strictly come dancing) and Darren Gough (Former international cricketer). During series 1, their celebrity teammates have included the likes of Vic Reeves, Phil Tuffnell, Nell McAndrew, Nancy Lamb, Vanessa Feltz (who felt the need to appear twice on the ... ...-------------------- The aim of the game is quite simply as the title suggest for contestants to fit through the 'hole in the wall'. The wall comes in the form of polystyrene hurtling towards them, and the hole comes in the form of various shapes and sizes (usually depicting unnatural body contortions) cut out of this wall of doom!! If they fail to make the correct shape, allowing the wall to pass over them, they will be pushed by its force into ...

Eastenders~~~~~ get outta my pub!!
Advantages: Raises awarness, shown daily Disadvantages: can get a bit tedious
Eastenders was first broadcast on February 19th 1985, it is set in the fictional place of walford in East London but it's main focus is on the residents of fictional Albert Square. EastEnders is filmed at the BBC Television Studios at Elstree in Hertfordshire. Filming can be watched on www.bbc.co.uk/eastender and click on webcam. It's there you will see Albert square, George Street and Turpin Road, even though I watch it on the telly it still seems ... ...All the characters are part of their own families for example; The Mitchells, The Slaters, The Beales, and so on. Everyone in Eastenders either uses The Queen Vic (short for Victoria) a pub owned by the Mitchells, The Argy Bahji which is an Indian restuarant or they will occasionly head to the nightclub which is now known as R&R's (formally E20). I do like eastenders but it can get a bit tedious at times, and sometimes you can go a few weeks without ...

Eggheads!
Advantages: good questions, entertaining characters Disadvantages: the eggheads smugness
...opinion eggheads is one of the best quiz shows on tv today. There are some great questions and the format is very simple, easy to understand and fair. There are five rounds in total, each round is on a different subject, eg science, maths, history, geography etc and consists of three questions - in the event of a draw a tie breaker question is read and both players have to reveal an answer. The show is presented by Dermot Murnaghan and involves the ... ...the challengers - 5 team members who fancy pitting their wit against the eggheads to take the eggheads reputation and the prize money. If they are unsuccessful the prize money rolls on and increases by £1000, which normally happens as the eggheads are quite a formidable force. On the rare occasion of the challengers winning, which can be counted on a single hand, they take the total stake of prize money eg £16,000 and the total pot is reset to £1000 ...

Robot Wars - Robotic Mayhem!
Advantages: Fantastic action Disadvantages: none
Robot Wars is exactly as its name suggests a battle between robots designed by members of the public. They compete in a gladiatorial style arena, battling against each other using whatever weapons they have at the disposal to beat the hell out of their opponents and either immobilise them, or to win a points victory against them, judged in terms of aggressiveness by a panel of judges. The competition takes place over a number of weeks as they battle ... ...at the end of it all. Recent times have seen the addition of robot football, obstacles courses, 'pinball' etc. which add something to the proceedings but also take away from them too. It is presented by Jeremy Clarkson(having taken over from Craig Charles) and Philippa Forrester who interviews the creators in the umm 'pitts' before the battle. And basically its a lot of fun.
OK, so its to going to be to everyone's taste which is probably why it ...

bag of laughs
Advantages: Ally McCoist and John Parrott Disadvantages: erm none
This comedy sports game show is similar to 'they think its all over' except it is more suitable for children as the jokes are less insulting.
Captains Ally McCoist and John parrot are very funny, and without using swear words, which for me is a big advantage to the gameshow.
It is more of a sports quiz than 'they think its all over' as each round has different theme. The rounds include:
1. the first round is the picture board, where the contestents ... ...picture.
2. Another good round is one where the contestents watch some sprting videos and they have to guess what year they all happened in etc.
3. probably the most fun and popular round is guess the sportsman. here a sporting celebrity is dressed up so as you wouldn't recognise them, and you have to guess who he is.
4. And another fun round is what happened next, which basically explains itself.
The quiz is presented by Sue barker, and the ...
