simpsons : very funny original

Advantages: funny clever
Disadvantages: singing songs

i like the simpsons because its a good original ironic comedy. i find all the characters very funny and the storylines are cleverly put together but my one hate is the songs for some reasoni dont thinks songs should go in the simpsons because lisa voice is fine when you listen to her but when she sings a song it just doesnt fir all the voices in show dont really make a song sound good and i know it doesnt have to because it a cartoon comedy and sometimes ...

Now bob the Muso.

Advantages: A cool cartoon
Disadvantages: He sets bad standards for builders to follow!

Bob the builder is a pop star. Its official. Bob who once made his ends meet with a trowel and a few bricks can now be seen on most top 40 shows at a weekend strutting his stuff while poorly covering Shaggy songs. Now, Im not knocking Bob's creative genius but someone needs to have a word with him. His career as an international pop star is doomed unless he comes up with some original material. Bob the Builder as opposed to Bob the Pop star is ...
...children glued to the TV. There is a website to find out more about Bob. www.bobthebuilder.org Its full of info and small Flash animation games for children. Very Useful. Setting. Bob is a construction worker who, well, builds things. He is not alone in his building skills though. He has many friends on the building site. his main friends are machinery and tools. One of his friends, Wendy, he has a special soft spot for. Wendy is more like ...

Children's favourite

Advantages: They are relatively short and succinct.
Disadvantages: Some purists might object to them.

Children whosee these animated tales of Shakespeare are impressed by the use of the cartoon epithets. By this I mean that the drama is enhanced for them by the visual images which they associate with cartoons. Sadly this can mean that they are most impressed by the violent scenes such as Macbeth's gory demise and the spearing of his head ona sword. This impressed a young pupil of mine aged nine who regailed me with the gory details. Nevertheless ...
...not have een there otherwise. This same nine year old asked me if he could be helped to understand the speech in JULIUS CAESAR. "What" he asked "does it mean when they said "Friends, Romans, Countrymen, lend me your ears!" He probably had an ulterior motive for this question, judg ing from his usual interest in the most bloodthirsty parts but even though I had to tell him it didn't involve cutting ears off a la Van Gogh it still meant that he was ...

Contradiction

Advantages:
Disadvantages:

The bible is a big red book that almost every one in first world countries knows about, many people in them know it word for word, obsessed would be how to describe them. Anyway, this message is just to question the fact that it completely contradicts it’s self and therefore should not be followed as fact but discarded as use for a guide to being a good person. This is because the majority of people make good things of it but the minority follow ...

Not a patch on the comic

Advantages: Nothing fundamentally wrong
Disadvantages: Not close to the Dennis who lives in my imagination

I'm one of those kids who every Tuesday would walk to the local newsagents on the way back from school to pick up my Beano - in them days, one of the highlights of my week. Funny to think that the 20p a comic seemed to cost the earth to me then. As with all written material, the real joy in reading is the fact that the charactors magically come alive in you head. Though they aren't real, to you for just a few minutes whilst you read a story, they ...
...they think, how they sound, how they move. With the beano charactors, this is what happened. As with all lads, Dennis the menace was always one of my favourites. He was one of the friends with whome I grew up. When I first heard that Dennis had his own TV show, I was actually quite looking forward to it. This guy who had lived in my head for the last 5 years would suddenly be on telly. I can also remember my disappointment when I actually saw the ...
