Disadvantages Disadvantages Esther girl, what have you got yourself into?

Esther Rantsen, all round national treasure and the most fantastic campaigner for good causes. As a person, I cannot fault this women, she has done so much charitable work over the years it is incredible. As the presenter of That's Life, she played a key role in keeping a tight, but funny, reign on the lunatics, talking animals, mad old ladies, in her stead. As a chat show host? Esther, dear Esther, she is terrible! Esther did not think highly of itself to begin with (labelling yourself the next Vanessa Feltz is not particularly good PR in my opinion), and tv audiences responded appropraitely ... more

    Advantages Advantages nice show

Disadvantages Disadvantages only watched it once

I watched Esther for the first time the other time when she was discussing TV favourite moments are rather the funniest moments on, and some parts were really funny especially when they showed Frank Spencer in Some Mother’s Do Have them. The chat show is hosted by Esther, where they discuss particular issues, the have a panel of guests, who give their views and the audience is made up of people who have something to do with what is being discussed and some who are their to ask questions. Like I said I don’t watch it often, this was the first time, and it seemed reasonable. The show ... more

Advantages Advantages good chat show with good topics of discussion

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

Esther's show is typical BBC, and that is not a bad thing, just that it's not like Tricia or Jerry, instead it's more relaxed, more a place for discussion rather than confrontation. It's a pleasent watch in the afternoon, she usually has a topic to discuss and guests who can relate to it. She has experts and normal people from the general public who particpate. Sometimes they have really good topics that they discuss. Esther is a good presener and I remember her when I was small and she used to present That's life. Her show might not appeal to everyone but at time they do have good topics to ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages -

I think there are two many shows like Esther’s and this chat show is just a copy of others, namely Kilroy, ok the format may be a little different, but I think this is just one extra chat show. Esther presents a show, which has studio guests, and people from the public, and who are a little know telling the viewers of their stories. Sometimes the set topic is good like ‘I had a million and blew it’ other times it’s not worth watching. I wouldn’t imagine this show get’s a big audience ratings, I would think it appeals to those who having nothing better to do ... more
