The X-files season 1 DVD box set comes with seven disks, there are 24 episodes with each of six disks containing four, and the final seventh disk is left for the extras. The whole package comes in a cardboard box; with an outer sleeve that holds the inside box that fold out to hold all seven disks. Advantages: Imaginative, engaging, brilliant mythology plot.
Disadvantages: Film wasn't great and the TV show losing its' spark in general.

Advantages: Some of the best ever Files in a gorgeous box set
Disadvantages: At £85 this is not cheap

I assume we have all heard of the X-Files by now, but just in case a little synopsis wouldn't hurt... Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson)are two FBI agents who deal with cases invoilving the paranormal, extra terestrials and other bizarre phenomena. This was all started up by Mulder who believes his sister was abducted by aliens back when they were children. Mulder believes everything (be it aliens, Vampires or whatever), ...

The shows strengths is the underlying plot to do with government conspiracies and hush ups about the existence of alien life, and it is ere in series two where this 'mythology' (as it is known by X-Philes) begins to heat up.
