...I have suffered from broken veins - also called spider veins or thread veins - for a few years now. I used to do a lot of high impact sport which has over the years encouraged these veins to appear.Some people are possibly more predisposed to spider veins then others, but in all they a very, very common complaint indeed. I really disliked and still do dislike the spider veins that I have on my legs. So I researched the internet and found this product by Skin Doctors. The reviews seemed quite good so I thought that I would give it a whirl. You really do have to perservere with this product every day to get any result at all. Advantages: Hours of fun trying to get the pump to work!
Disadvantages: Red, stripey, patchy legs

...I got this as part of my getting ready to go out on a friday night package (ya know, face mask, hair treatment, nail varnish, LEGS!!) as I didn't want to risk cutting myself shaving. First off, the pump dispenser thingy didn't work properly, it took about 50 pumps to get anything out of it. Then it was hard to spread with that little spreader thing they give you, because if you overlap a bit, the second layer takes off the first, if you see what I mean? Anyway... I eventually got the legs coated in this goo with green lumps in it, and sat there waiting for the five minutes to be up. It felt fine when it was on me, but when I rinsed it off, my legs were bright red, sore and covered with what looked like thread veins!! I could have cried! To add insult to injury, it really wasn't that effective at removing the fuzz it was intended... Read review
