BFG technologies are in my opinion one of the greatest manufacturers of graphics cards on the market the overclocked version however really push graphics performances to whole new levels. Especially if you sLi these cards (e.g. buy two of exactly the same cards connect them together using a special cable) and away you go. This leads to one of the greatest graphics engines on the planet. The 7800 OC version is actually a relatively new product produce by BFG check their website. It consists of the amazing new chip but get this, they have factory overclocked every single card, this means that they have squezed an extra 40 odd MHz out of the memory clock speed making it up to 1050MHz and an extra 25Mhz out of the core clock seed making it up to 425MHz. They all also come with a lifetime warranty from BFG. In my opinion always go for BFG technologies either this card all the 7800 GTX OC both are amazing cards this one is probably slightly better value for money however in my opinion.
Now as for the way this looks on games and dvds? There is no question, that it will handly any new game that the market has to offer. And it will do this with incredible style. So if your into games like Far Cry and F.E.A.R where graphics build the atmosphere then there is no question always go for BFG. For DVD's and XviD's etc. this card offers amazing performance, but you will also need a "worthy" monitor to experince the best that this card has to offer. It also includes connectors for HDTV aswell now this is the newest in TV technology it stands for High Definition TV (basically a normally CRT television has around 625 lines i think.; each one of these lines is made up of hundreds of coloured dots, when electrons are fired on these dots they light up, and when lots are fired at once and very rapidly you get a moving picture. Now this is the same with HDTV but there are just thousands of lines instead of hundreds, this means you get a crystal clear image. Most programs in the UK are not broadcast in HDTV, as the bandwidth is phemnomal, however eventually when they are you could be the first for watching crystal clear pictures. But as for now, you can watch crystal clear DVD's with this card.
Informative review, but could maybe have more information about how it compares to other grpahics cards as well as your opinion on how it makes things look when playing games, watching DVDs and when just carrying out everyday tasks. I think this would be more beneficial, potentially, than some of the advanced technical specifications which some people may not understand or appreciate. Otherwise, good work =D
why it's outstanding, how does it compare to 'standard' ones... I feel you're excited abou it but the review does not really convince. If you can add more info, drop a message on my guest book and I'll rate better for you.
