Advantages: Quality, Easy to Assemble, Affordable Disadvantages: Store can be quite a distance from home
...Furniture made to a good standard, better than places such as Argos for a fraction of the cost. No need for traditional screwdrivers on most of the items as most items of furniture are put together using 'allen' keys, really useful and a lot stronger than the traditional way. Furniture looks great and is easy to put together with instructions that come with pictures, which I personally can follow better than written instructions (a little like wooden LEGO). IKEA Billy compliments the most traditional of homes with the styles used and the colouring of the wood. IKEA using wood only from forests whcih are replanted. Be careful though you will need at least 2 people to build as these items are heavy due to the size and quality of the wood....

Omo is the first powder detergent my family used and still love to use back home in Ghana because it is oudourless, does not react with the skin and is excellent for all traditional washing purposes in the following situation when:

Advantages: Short articles, will appeal to a wide audience Disadvantages: lacks a little substance
...that with one exception, there were lots of shorter articles, and price comparisons of various household appliances, furniture and finishing touches. There was also a feature length article on lighting, which is part of an Interior Design series that the magazine runs as a regular feature. Many of the featured ideas will appeal more to a modern home and modern tastes than a traditionalhome, but many will appeal to both tastes. If I had one disappointment in the early pages of this magazine, it was that they ran a feature comparing Supermarket convenience foods - what place has that in a Homes Magazine? In its defence, this one page article was part of a section focusing on the Kitchen, but I felt it was slightly out of place in Good Homes.
