These should really be banned, or at the very least have warnings written on them.
The only good thing about these i can really comment on is the price, they normally retail for about 99p for a yellow and green bag containing 10 razors.
Ok, they cut a lot better than an electric razor, but the results aren't very long lasting and the risks that are involved in using one of these aren't really worth taking. I have not ONCE been able to use one of these razors without cutting myself at least once, and although they heal up quite quickly if you apply an antiseptic, the germs living on the hair on your face could very easily infect the wound so if you do cut yourself using one of these make sure you apply some savlon or sudocrem.
Why they are marketed as 'Sensitive' i will never know, as they make u itch like a cat with flea's if you don't use any aftershave, there is nothing different in appearence to the non-sensitive Bics so unless the blade is made of a different material I think this is just a plain faced marketing lie.
The razors are manufactured from the lowest quality plastic known to man, (just like the pens)and you can even break it if you squeeze or bite it hard enough (again like the pens). A small orange cover is fitted over the blade, which is colour co-ordinated with the handle and there for safety so you don't cut yourself, although you will once you remove it. This can also be quite difficult, just be careful as you are sliding it off that you dont accidently slip your finger across the blade.
Upon removing the cover you think to yourself, "how can i use that on my face?" there is just the one blade and no protection wires to prevent you cutting yourself.
If you have spots or acne then you really better stay away from these because one of these would litterally slice them in half, causing a lot of pain.
The packaging claims that each razor should last approximately a week, but i used to throw them away after two days because when they start going blunt, you cut yourself even more, and they even start to go rusty if you don't put them near a radiator and leave them wet!, not very hygenic at all.
In use, it takes good few strokes to get an area clean, and make sure you use plenty of gel/foam because they do not glide well at all, as we all know more strokes mean more irritation but with these razors you have no choice. And unless you have perfectly contoured skin (and nobody has) they dig in and cut your skin to shreads.
These are only OK to use if you are on holiday for the weekend, have forgot your normal razor and desperately need a shave. I bet the MD of Bic doesn't use these, and you shouldn't either. Invest in a good quality electric shaver or a Lynx/MACH 3 Razor.
For goodness sake keep them away from youngsters.
