I know the BobbyCar since I was a child and I loved it. So it was only natural that I bought my son a BobbyCar for his first birthday in 2007.
I bought the NewBobbyCar which is a revised version of the 1970's classic style. I can tell that the BobbyCar has truly evolved since the 1970's. The rubber compound wheels of the NewBobbyCar make it running really smoothly on our laminate flooring. A small compartment under the tank flap can hold small treasures or can be used to extend the BobbyCar with accessories.
My son wasn't able to walk at that time, when he first sat on a BobbyCar, but he seemed to enjoy it. Moving forward instead of backward was the first hurdle to cope with. He surely wasn't able to do racing at that time.
However, it was interesting to see his development from sitting on it, moving backwards ...
