I chose the 318iSE Auto as my latest company car and am very happy with it. This is the first automatic that I've owned, but I must say, it is very relaxing when queueing on the M4 in the morning rush. The SE gives you slightly fancier alloy wheels and air-con, which is a must if you do much driving by day. It's a shame that the standard Business radio still comes with a cassette (who still uses those?). It is a little bit under powered when accelerating, but in the sport setting it will allow you to overtake the odd tractor. The car has a great build quality and a good solid Teutonic feel, and when you climb back into a different make you'll feel like you're in a tin can. Long journeys are very relaxing because it is so quiet and virtually drives itself. My only gripe is the lack of lumbar support - the seats are disappointing for such a prestige car. I think it does about 35 mpg on average.

Not bad intro, but info on what the car has to offer would have resulted in a higher rating (eg comfort, ride, equipment, insurance costs etc.). If you ever redo this op, please let me know and I'll reread it and review my rating :)
Advantages: Power, economy, style, reliability, boot size and access. Disadvantages: Slightly difficult to handle in the wet, slightly cramped in the rear seats.
