Hi, I have just bought a BMW320d se. I absolutely love it! Its reliable and comfortable, plenty of room for 3 kids in the back and loads of boot space. Does 45+ to the gallon and we live in a rural area so will be cheaper on motorways and A roads. Tax is also cheap due to emmissions. I have honestly got nothing bad to say about the car! 6 speed is excellent for motorways so is the cruise control. Cruise control is also handy to make sure you don't go over any speed limits because it's easy to go faster than you think you are in the BMW. The ride is really smooth so you don't even know you are in a diesel. It also has rear parking sensors that are handy in car parks etc. You will be surprised at the price too, you can get this top of the range car for the same price as a Ford Mondeo or Vauxhall Vectra and I know which I would rather be seen in! If you are considering buying this car you really won't be dissapointed so go for it! You really won't regret it!

Sounds like you got a great car there with superb fuel economy! Out of interest what sort of power/engine has the diesel 320D got? Probably too sooon for any servicing issues as yet, but keep us updated. You mentioned a priceof around £10K+ at end of review which I'm assuming is Used price, what year? Thanks, Enjoy!-CH
Advantages: Diesel the most fuel efficient, best torque of the range, same motor as BMW 320d - so a QUIET diesel Disadvantages: Diesel may appear more expensive at the pump in the UK, dealer support is shoddy, maintenance costs high, still a british car with the usual quirks
