I bought a 320d M Sport in September 2006. This is a great car to driive, quick, responsive and fun. Everything I would expect of the BMW marque.
Whilst it drives beautifully, as with any BMW extras are expensive and surprisingly the boot space is tiny. Don't expect to get much luggage in there.
Additionally, the residuals are not good on the 3 series. I bought new and have been offered 11k less than I bought it for recently. There are loads of these cars on the second hand market and next time I would by a used car with low mileage to save myself the anxiety of losing a packet.
Having said that I love this car and would recommend you buy it - at the right price. It doesn't get better at this price.

Hello and welcome to Ciao....sorry for the low rating but I feel that you could have told us so much more abot the car, I will re-rate if you editand remind me in my guestbook.... thanks. J.
Advantages: Diesel the most fuel efficient, best torque of the range, same motor as BMW 320d - so a QUIET diesel Disadvantages: Diesel may appear more expensive at the pump in the UK, dealer support is shoddy, maintenance costs high, still a british car with the usual quirks
