Advantages Advantages Good looking, quick, reliable, the clear leader in its field!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Apart from cost none spring to mind.

Before I get to the answer a couple of points to note; Firstly, buying the 330 was somewhat of a compromise (first offspring on the way and a two seater would clearly no longer suffice). Secondly, if you want that combination of looks, build quality and performance then I guess one inevitably comes has to try out a BMW. Thirdly, my first BMW (a company car, 7 years ago) was a 318is coupe so I thought I knew what the 330 would be about. But does it need to be a 330? At over £30k for the "all bells and whistles variety" it's not cheap and let's face it, how often is having the speed restricted ... more

Advantages Advantages Solid, good looking, slow depreciator, smooth

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None really

The 330i has a lovely engine with great torque / smooth delivery. The BM's 3rd/4th gear are a bit too "long" so the engine isn't exploited to the fullest of the performance that it could potentially give. But it's still very fast, don't worry about performance! Go for leather, M-sport model (better looking and tauter handling but the ride is so hard you won't want to go to certain places or whole towns if they have bad surfaces), avoid convertible (overweight and expensive), and check how long till the next minor or major services, investigate the costs and deduct accordingly! Watch out for ... more

A beautiful car, with eveything you require from a car, it has all the feature's you could possibly need while driving, ranging from central locking, electric windows, central navigation system and the normal, like power steering and ABS including airbags all round, front loader and radio. Truly an amazing machine it is really quick doing 0-60 in just 6.7 seconds and speed climbs very quickly after that. While in the car you feel a sense of class because of it's brilliant design and looks it is streamlined to increase a smoother ride aswell. The car really holds to the road while driving and ... more

Advantages Advantages Lovely curves, fierce look, nice and stable, great steering, fantastic brakes

Disadvantages Disadvantages apart from the cost, i can't think of any.

I own a BMW 318 but I drove the BMW 330 only once. And that one time was good enough for me. I drove this car during my BMW Advanced Driving Course in Malaysia. Boy, I really did burn rubber. I did 180, 360 spins, oversteer, understeer, emergency change lanes on this baby. In one afternoon, I must have done at least 60 emergency brakes and the tyres are still alive... just smoking... The accelerator pedal has a lovely feel. Sensitive to touch, yet it is accommodating. It feels and you get the right amount of power you need at that point in time. When I floor the accelerator, there is a button ... more
