Ride of your Life
Advantages: Never lets me down Disadvantages: Fuel guzzler, service cruncher and not a family car
A womans point of view for a fab car that has 5 wheels just like most of the others!! Having saved for this car, I finally own one! in blue. which is obviously important.
After having Fiestas and Novas all my life, I now have a car that has a smooth ride, 5 gears and eats petrol like its going out of fashion. plus costs an arm and leg to fill the tank with juice (aprox £65 now) If I can get 30miles to a gallon, then its a good day, or if its a bad ... ...26 to the gallon. With a computerised dashboard to rely on and a service system that tells me when its due for a over priced service or a extortionatley priced service, you can guarantee it starts first time every morning, come rain or shine, I can guarantee that I enjoy driving it and get noticed when doing so and you can guarantee that I would have another one, just the same as I have been so impressed with every detail of the car.. For me its ...

Advantages: compact Disadvantages: too common

well BMW is a trusted brand! But overall trusting a brand like BMW, u know u have spent money well, this german mad machince is literally like said before the ultimate driving machine.
I would love to have one of these, especially how good it can be with the fuel. But from the dazzling red dash, to its comfortable seating, this really is a good choice!
people who have never had a BMW before should always start with this model!

Excellent Rare M Powered Car!!
Advantages: 321bhp, No Traction Control, Heated Leather Seats, Luggage Space Disadvantages: Rare
Having now owned mine for 8 months I have fallen in love with this car. I have owned many performance cars before including the e46 m3, s3, golf r32 etc.. and this is my favourite for a number of reasons.
Firstly the way it looks, you either love it or hate it... and the way people look at it due to it being so rare.
The handling is very good, no traction control, just pure driver input. So if you are not an experienced driver, or dont know how ... ...bite!! The 2 comfy seats (heated) and good boot space are perfect if you can live with that. Fits me and my girlfriend in, with luggage to tour europe for a few weeks no problems.
The performance is awesome, what you would expect of the M3 engine, 321bhp and rear wheel drive is the perfect combo. Track days are a must if you want to experience the full potential of this car. Steering could feel a bit more involving, but it is sharp and responsive.

BMW 116i M Sport - Over priced and very bumby.
Advantages: BMW holds it's price, great sexy bodywork. Disadvantages: Fuel consumption, not enough power in the 116i
I currently have a 116i M Sport. It is a lovely car to look at and usually a lovely car to drive on the A roads or motor ways. I find it can be a bit sluggish to pull away but can more than hold it's own on the open roads. This model sits 1.5mm lower than the others due to the M Sport suspension. This coupled with the run flat tyres results in a very bumpy and uncomfortable ride. Make no mistakes, this is not an ideal car for someone already suffering ... ...3 years from new and love it to pieces but i won't hide the bad points just because i love the car. Enough room in the back for a child seat and a small push chair will fit in the boot. 31.3mpg on a petrol engine is about average for motor ways and about 26.1mpg on local roads. Fuel tank holds 53ltrs so you're looking at near £60 at the pumps based on £1.08 per ltr.
Would i buy it again knowing what i know now, yes i would. I still maintain, it's ...
