Advantages: excellent performance, comfortable
Disadvantages: very expensive to run jarring ride

I know you must be wondering why that and not another well thats due to the 330 ci he had previously being due for replacement and that was his third BMW after the 318i the 325i then the 330i.

The BMW M3 is drive-a-licious !

Advantages: Good motorsport feel
Disadvantages: Pricey, can get stiff neck, driving at speed

...most wonderful sounds known to BMW kind !...no not the church organ...but this one vroom-VROOM !! (get it ?!) Once inside I noticed the usual BMW leather upholstery, a little chrome polish here and there, and seats that wrap round you like your mother, which was nice. The one I tested came with a manual gearbox, but if you can't work the 3rd pedal don't worry you can get an automatic equivalent. On the dash, there is also these little cool electronic ...
...door, the light instead of flashing on fades in, and when I closed the door it fades out...I felt like I had entered a little spaceship called Enterprise. The interior is a success , because I didn't feel like I was in an average car...but a luxury car, that happens to go fast. Now performance...when I put the pedal to the metal....I went 40, 50, 60-oh man ! this car does 0 to 60 in 4.8s, a quarter mile in 13.6s in 105 mph and picks up chicks in ...

Intense Power that Towers above the Rest

Advantages: Speed, Decisive Handling and that M3 badge.
Disadvantages: Possibly a tad expensive, some rattle.

...start it purrrrrs. The BMW M3, 2003 edition is, in my view, one of the best cars on the planet. Thse styling of the 333hp beast is, in case you havent seen it, brute like. It looks tough in its purpose of getting from A to B, with the possible max of speed, of course. Because 0-60 in 4.8 seconds is very very fast. If it's a question of speed the M3 would be the answer, and at a max of 140mph its a damm good anwser at that. Although don't take the ...
...BMW had to put a limiter on the car (because of stupid EU regulations), but with the hand of certain companies you can have the M3 delimeted for even more power. Not that you'll need it. When revving the six-speed gearbox, which by the way is superb, you'll find even if your'e pushing ####### the pedal and turning, the car has great handling. This is important on a car with lots of power and is helped by the M3's differential locks and Stability ...

Ahaa Feeling this ride !!

Advantages: Car is built for performance !
Disadvantages: looks are not that good.

I have had my E46 M3 for about a year now. My car is equipped with the Sequential Manual Gearbox. Coming from a Subaru WRX this car is a completely different experience. Before driving the M, I had always thought that most luxury sports cars are gimmicks. While I can't speak for AMGs or Audi's S line, the M is a gives the driver a very unique driving experience. The M3 can be two very different beasts. With a redline of ~8k, being below 4k RPMs can ...
...you punch the acellerater and the revs start screaming to 8k you truely feel the genius of this car. I am able to drive around town and on freeways either extremely comfortably or relatively fast, depending on my mood. Not feeling like trying to hard to go fast (somewhat ironic question, I know)? press the Sport button. This button makes the throttle response extremely sensitive and allows to build speed or take of the line quickly with ease. The ...

E36 M3 - The choice of the trackday hero

Advantages: So easy to drive well
Disadvantages: So easy to drive badly

Warning -this is a bit of a racers review. But it makes sense on this car.............................. E36 M3. So, why would anyone choose one of these cars? Answer:- a/ You're a bit of a chav-type poser b/ You're a serious trackday-type driver. You decide????????? It's cheap to buy, reasonable to run (Specialists abound) expensive to insure and a serious risk to the owner's NCB! When I first enquired about insuring an M3 to teach on-road ...
...the telephone at arm's length! They are one of the highest "no other vehicle involved" claim vehicle, apparently. With around 300BHP (3 litre or 3.2 in real-world measurements), RWD and lifeless steering it could be a very easy car to introduce the car to the scenery. However, I persevered, found an insurer that liked what I did, and here I am with one of the best performance cars on the road - and I get to drive a whole raft of cars that have serious ...

Bmw M3 Evo Saloon

Advantages: Fast, reliable, good handeling, comfortable, looks evil, solid build, smile factor
Disadvantages: expensive to maintain and run, steering wheel is a bit big, long gear throw

Bmw E36 M3 evo saloon I love my M3 evo, 90k on the clock so far FSH and still on the same healthy sounding vanos unit. Ive always had quick cars but this thing is awesome. There are a few updated items on the 3.2 E36 M3 including bigger brakes from the M5 6, speed box and bigger 3.2 twin vanos engine giving a massive 321bhp. Beware though this car cant be run on a shoe string budget. my spends so far 1) new suspension and bushes standard boge set ...
...filter, solinoides cleaned and longer BMW bolts fitted to the front plate at a cost of £150 And if that troublesome vanos unit goes im looking a £1500 for a replacement. ( so best to get it serviced ) None of this matters though because ive got one of the best driving cars the world has ever seen. every time im in it i smile and ive spent the money on it ensuring that ive got one of the best evos in britain. fuel consumption is a bit mad, the ...

M brilliant

Advantages: Great engine, good looks, good brand name.........
Disadvantages: shape and price

The BMW M Coupe is an outstanding car in every way. For a start, it looks outstanding; definitely eye-catching. There are only 250 of this car in the UK, so it is all very exclusive if you manage to get your hands on one! And for £40,595 there not half bad! The silky smooth 321 BHP V6, rear wheel drive is superb. Other great things about this car is that it has a wonderful hard top that dramatically increases torsional rigidity. That means that the car handles better than a roadster. The BMW badge signifies wonderful build quality and a very reliable brand. The car is also very quick and very powerful. Many people would love to have a V6 and I am one of them. So, if you would like to get a BMW M-Coupe...don't worry....all you have to spend is £40,000! BMW M Coupe Stats: Model: Rear-wheel-drive coupe Price: £40,595 Engine ...

Review of BMW M3 Coupe

The M Pedigree

Advantages: Performance, Quality, Fun
Disadvantages: Price, Rare

"The Ultimate Driving Machine" This is certainly the case here, BMW have yet again proven they are top dog with their superior engineering and elegant design. The subtle but meaningful M Power logo dotted around the car just reminds the driver of its pedigree breed, and racing heritage. Some may argue its styling is a little quirky and tasteless, and others will genuinely fall in love with it, but we all know beauty is only skin deep and the M-Coupé has more under the bonnet. The 3.2 litre 24 valve powerhouse puts out a very impressive 321BHP and with 258lb/ft of torque with its twin vanos system, this engine certainly has ample power for even the most enthusiastic driver. Once over 4000RPM the engine really starts to sing and come to life, the whole car takes on a different attitude and eagerly awaits a good thrashing. The ride is ...

Review of BMW Z3 M Coupe

BMW 330Ci Sport, with M3 body styling

Advantages: One word, German.
Disadvantages: Thirsty and not for the faint hearted, also, damned expensive!!!!!!

. When I first bought the car (Mine is a 330Ci convertible with M3 body styling) there was a small rattle in the front left hand corner (where the roof meets the window) and like all rattles, it really annoyed me. But as I have driven the car further and faster, the rattle has gone, and the car has become much more smooth. Reliability: With age this car has become more reliable, even though mine is only a year old there is the whole BMW history behind it. From the first 3series until now, these cars have always been reliable, mainly because they are built and engineered in Germany. With this history behind them, it makes the 3Series one of the most reliable cars I have owned (and others will most definitely agree. Comfort: Ok, this car isn?t the largest in the world. The entire length is 4.48metres, and the width is only 1.75metres ...
