Proexcellent performance, comfortable

Consvery expensive to run jarring ride

Introduction~ Hi. It's must be obvious now I am an motoring fan so another motor review now! Motoring can be boring with the speed limits congestion charges parking restriction!? Living in England means there are plenty reason to go mad and to get even you need to get around much faster and...

ProGood motorsport feel

ConsPricey, can get stiff neck, driving at speed

At first glance there doesn't seem anything special about it, but I have to admit it does look better than the average BMW. That's when I noticed the lower front spoiler, the wider wheel arches that hide the wider axle. Believe, I couldn't go wrong with 20 18 inch rims,...can I ? Then there's...

ProSpeed, Decisive Handling and that M3 badge.

ConsPossibly a tad expensive, some rattle.

I slot the key into the whole and it doesn't just start it purrrrrs. The BMW M3, 2003 edition is, in my view, one of the best cars on the planet. Thse styling of the 333hp beast is, in case you havent seen it, brute like. It looks tough in its purpose of getting from A to B, with the possible max...

(I love this car based on a test drive) PERFORMANCE: Incredible. Smooth, powerful acceleration. 0-60 in 5.4s. Hits 90 just on onramps. 60-0 in 116 feet. Surreal brakes! Unparalleled passing power. Not enough O's in smoooooth to describe this engine. Handling is simply out of this world. FUN FUN...

Bmw E36 M3 evo saloon I love my M3 evo, 90k on the clock so far FSH and still on the same healthy sounding vanos unit. Ive always had quick cars but this thing is awesome. There are a few updated items on the 3.2 E36 M3 including bigger brakes from the M5 6, speed box and bigger 3.2 twin vanos...

ConsSo easy to drive badly

Warning -this is a bit of a racers review. But it makes sense on this car.............................. E36 M3. So, why would anyone choose one of these cars? Answer:- a/ You're a bit of a chav-type poser b/ You're a serious trackday-type driver. You decide????????? It's cheap to buy, reasonable...

ProCar is built for performance !

Conslooks are not that good.

I have had my E46 M3 for about a year now. My car is equipped with the Sequential Manual Gearbox. Coming from a Subaru WRX this car is a completely different experience. Before driving the M, I had always thought that most luxury sports cars are gimmicks. While I can't speak for AMGs or Audi's S...

The car being reviewed here is the 2011 BMW M3. This is the one...the don...this is the vehicle that helped build a segment. Can you believe this car has been around for 25 years. Back in 1986 codenamed the E30...the first M3 came out with a 2.3L inline 4 producing 195hp...but for 2011 this car...

The BMW M3 3.2 Evolution E36 is one of the best M3's - in fact - they are all good - all have the best BMW engines, and the best performance - under 7.5 seconds 0-60! Yes please. The BMW M3 range has always been admired - been critically accliamed and it's clear to see why - with brilliant...

You know that face that you would pull if Catherine Zeta Jones came up to you in the street (or maybe Brad Pitt in a womans point of view),yes that PHWOOOOR FACE,thats the face that I pulled when I first set eyes on the BMW E46 M3. As I looked more and more, the german curves just so perfect I...

ProScary fast!

Consnone

Paid £30K with all options except navigation and phone and I got a non-std. set of M-spec wheels included. This car is stupid-fun and scary-fast. The auto-box does not take much away in performance, and the taller 4th and 5th gears make highway driving more comfortable. There is so much power and...

ConsIt's not a Rover

Want the best BMW ever? Then look no further than the new E46 BMW M3. It's got 343 bhp at 8000rpm! A 0-60 time of 4.8 seconds, and is faster than every current Porsche but the 911 Turbo. It gets an imposing new m5-ish understated body kit and alloys that don't even so much as hint at it's...

if 007 james bond was a famialy man i think he would go for a car like this. its got more gagets than a nasa space shuttle and you could also do with a piolots licene to fly, i mean drive one. with a heart stopping 321 bhp, this car wil push you from 0-60 in 5.3 secs and with a top speed of...

Cons high running cost

As owning a M3 myself i have found the advantages and disadvantages of owning one. firstly they have a straight 6 24 valve twin cam engine which is pushing 286 bhp at standard they are restricted to 155mph and the braking is excellent. now as you could imagine the running costs are high. the one...

ProThe best all-round car in the UK?

ConsNot cheap

I've just spent a couple of days in the company of the new BMW M3 - E46 model. It is as good as everyone hoped, marrying the race-car style steering and handling of the original E30 M3, with the performance and all-round ability of the E36. The car has very little which could be improved...
