At first glance there doesn't seem anything special about it, but I have to admit it does look better than the average BMW. That's when I noticed the lower front spoiler, the wider wheel arches that hide the wider axle. Believe, I couldn't go wrong with 20 18 inch rims,...can I ? Then there's that little hump on the bonnet to make sure there's enough room for the bigger engine. At closer inspection I noticed the M3 nostrils on the front fenders...and the emblem on the back on the car that says EMMMM 3 !...but the most distinct characteristic I like lies below the emblem...it's the beautiful 4-pipe organ ( twin exhaust ) which plays the most wonderful sounds known to BMW kind !...no not the church organ...but this one vroom-VROOM !! (get it ?!) Once inside I noticed the usual BMW leather upholstery, a little chrome polish here and there, and seats that wrap round you like your mother, which was nice. The one I tested came with a manual gearbox, but if you can't work the 3rd pedal don't worry you can get an automatic equivalent. On the dash, there is also these little cool electronic themes. For instance like at night when I opened the door, the light instead of flashing on fades in, and when I closed the door it fades out...I felt like I had entered a little spaceship called Enterprise. The interior is a success , because I didn't feel like I was in an average car...but a luxury car, that happens to go fast. Now performance...when I put the pedal to the metal....I went 40, 50, 60-oh man ! this car does 0 to 60 in 4.8s, a quarter mile in 13.6s in 105 mph and picks up chicks in under 5s ! When I turned on the sport button and floored it again...I had to tell my passenger to stiffen their neck muscles, because when I was flooring it I didn't want to break their neck !! When the car was in sport mode...the engine was working at full capacity all 300 odd horses hit me right in the back, and I just flew, and flew ! Now okay I don't want to mislead anyone here I'm not the slick, stylish, handsome racing fellow...but I do know a couple things about cars...fast cars and this is one of them, the M3 ! Although this car is fast, it is also expensive, list price new £ 50,000 upwards...yes £50 large !. But the price can be justified by its unique motor-sport styling its 300 odd horsepower engine and most of all by its everyday drivability...so in my "good-book" its well worth the cash-money.
