Summary
Its already a motring icon. Everywhere you drive it people stare, point, smile. 1 month after buying it is worth £1500 more than we paid for it - not bad depreciation. Compared to other cars on the market in the same price bracket there is no comparrison - Buy one now !

Looks
The design detailing is superb. Every detail from the outside, to the engine compartment, to the interior has been thoughtfully designed.

Build Quality
Good build quality (as you would expect from BMW), no rattles, everything feels good quality to handle. All the controlls are wonderfully precise and light to handle. The engine is powerful, flexible and quiet.

Handling
Drives like it is on rails, great for country lanes. Can be a little bit choppy and bouncy on some roads. Refined and quiet on motorways.

Practicality
The boot is small, although it is a propper hatchback and the back seats fold down. There is pleanty of room for front seat passangers, my mate it 6 foot and he fits in comfortably. Back seats are cramped. Its doing 40mpg, mostly motorway driving.

Value for money
You can pay upto £16,000 for a top spec cooper. I would settle for a few sensible options to keep the price reasonable. For the money it is in itself very good value, when you consider the exclusivity, desirability, build quality. You get 5 years servicing for £100 which is transferable if you sell. It will also hold its value extremely well.
