He has just about everything on it and has the new twin turbo version. In my opinion, the best things about it are:
automatic high beams - i know that it takes very little effort to turn your full beams on and off, but having this means that you dont have to think about it, and ... ...off. Also its such a cool toy!! The nomal lights on the X5 are by the way close to other cars' full beams!
The Ipod player, being able to go through your ipod on your steering wheel is great, it means you have access to alot more music, and its safer and easier than messing about with CDs.
The 22" alloys! - they are absolutely huge, i dont know how much they cost, but they are deffinately worth it. They make it ... more

The 22" alloys! - they are absolutely huge, i dont know how much they cost, but they are deffinately worth it. They make it stand out from other X5's and if you have a dark colour, the chrome looks great against it.
The colour, my dad went for blue/black, so it looks great as all black cars do, without looking like you are a pimp or a drug dealer!
All in all this is a great car, and it has never driven anything but perfectly, having driven it once, when i put my fut down for the kickdown, it felt like i was in a plane taking off it was that quick!
If you have kids, they will be very impressed with this car!

Quick review of BMW X5 3.0d
Our 52 reg has done 95k miles and has been great up to now, we driven along a fairly rough lane for a year now and the rear suspension has taken a bit of a hammering. Requiring the common droplink bushes and possible rear strut replacement at £400 each. Only other problem is the computer display has missing pixels that have got progressively worse over time. ...

Advantages: Looks good, drives good on and off-road, perfect for everyday use Disadvantages: Some people might say its expensive
The BMW X5, its stylish and practical. Some people say its the ideal car, some people say they just want practicality, well this car offers everything from options between manual and automatic transmission to luxery leather interior.
Firstly to look at it, its hard to say that its an ugly car, the smooth but deep lines in the bonet just seem to sweep down the side and right back to the rear of the car, making it look inviting and fun to drive. Not ... ...or in a village doing the school run. As for the practical side of it, if you were going to do some sort of off-roading with it, it wont let you down (if you go for the 4X4 option) its high ride and large wheel base make an off road journey as enjoyable as cruising along and open road, and if you want, throw it through some really ruff terain, dont worry, it can handle it. ...

Advantages: Luxuriously comfortable, lovely to drive Disadvantages: A bit big for parking with, A FUEL GUZZLER!
...dad (old) bought himself a BMW X5 3.0d Sport. At first glance, it is a nice looking car, its a bit bulky for our small English roads however despite the large frame of the car, the exterior is manufactured in such a way that it doesn't look clumsy or unnecessarily big, and from what I know about BMW's is up to their high standard, with a quality exterior finish. The car is the same colour as in the picture displayed on the Ciao website, however it ... ...It is a lovely car, leather seats, sooo comfortable, a lovely car to drive, automatic, good handling, and it floats around at 70MPH as if its doing 30MPH, its flawless. But this luxury, as most of you who have big cars know, comes at a price... to fill up, it can cost over £100, and although I do not want to dwell on the negatives, this fuel-gulping machine can put you off driving and make you want to pop out in your daughters P-reg Nissan Micra... ...
