Please please take a look at this website www.bmwlemon.com/dontbmwcare.htm it will give you an example of how BMW treat people when they have a dispute with one of their dealers. Please don't just read it though, please do email david.taylor@bmw.co.uk and tell him what you think and please do copy me in too on dontbmwcare@hotmail.com
Basically, their dealer quoted £312.55 and 4-6 weeks for a simple repair. When they took 54 weeks and charged over £1800, BMW didn't appear to take my complaints seriously. When the repairs were so bad that I was quoted over £2400 for corrective work, BMW simply wouldn't look at the evidence I had against their dealer!......look at the website for the full story!
Thanks for your time, I really do appreciate your help
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
Thanks for your input people.
All the info can be found at the website www.bmwlemon.com/dontbmwcare.htm. The reason I left the details short was to encourage those interested in the situation to go to that site and read the full story without boring others to death. That obviously backfired a little.
Still please do checkout the site and please, if you do have the time, email BMW (I would suggest david.taylor@bmw.co.uk) and tell them how appauled you are at they way they treated me. After all, it's only if enough people tell them that they know my voice is being heard. Please feel free to ask their side of the argument too as I don't want you all hearing just one side of the story!
Cheers
Steve

Review of BMW
Advantages: Fair price, electric roof, leather interior, CD player and, of course 'blindingly rapid'. Disadvantages: Quite expensive parts, can tend to guzzle petrol depending on the speed.
