I have now studied with BPP for nearly two years, and so far they have got me through my exams all first time.
They offer a wide range of courses, and a well defined 'path to success'. Their standard study courses are often packed into a short times, but the syllabus is well covered and the lecturers experienced in the subject and area, meaning that they apply the knowledge to get you through the exams, apply it to real life, and make it more interesting. (They also do home study courses, but I would recommend taking a class course if at all possible due to the content)
The Revision courses are a must for any student, as they are focussed on applying the knowledge and getting past the exams. BPP offer a variety of dates and courses (some just questions, some refresher/question courses) both in the week and at weekend. They also fully debrief and explain answers, and select to ensure yo are well prepared for the exam.
They also do question days, which are one day courses, where you sit an exam in exam conditions, to time. Each question is then individually marked by a professional marker, and debriefed by lecturers. This allows you to get into the mind of the marker and see how your papers score, and where the marks come from.
BPP also prides itself on its 'open door' policy, where students can contact their lecturers directly, at any time, to ask questions, request class information or anything else relevent to the exams.
My experiences of BPP so far have been good, gaining knowledge and meeting new people. The classes are well taught and the study information well made. They have locations throughout London, the UK, and Worldwide, and although some classes can get big, the course is still very personalised.
If you are studying, or considering a professional law or financial course, I recommend you check out if BPP can help you get there.
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
A decent review but you could do with giving a bit more information about cost, courses on offer etc etc. I used BPP many years ago for my ACCA exams on home study and found that there were a lot of errors in the set questions in the books, but the text books were well laid out and easy to use. May be they have ironed out the problems I encountered over the years! Caroline xx
