Everything at BPP has been difficult. For the first module, I bought a package with online lectures. The lectures were so bad I couldn't even watch most of them. Money down the drain.
For the next module I bought the basic package with online material. This was supposed to have online assessments, a student forum and other things. It did not. It was literally a copy of the books I received in pdf format on my computer. What is the point of that? More money down the drain.
To clarify: to buy the basic online package costs more than twice the cost of all the individual items put together. For this extra money you get to read the books that you have in your hand, on your computer screen as well. Brilliant!
For the next module I bought just the books and CDs. This was relatively cheap. They sent out-of-date materials. I complained and they sent me newer ones and a credit note for the CDs they no longer made. Fair enough.
For the next order I used the credit note just fine, only to then receive an invoice for that amount. when I queried it I got no answer for two weeks despite several emails I sent. They sent an email saying that the 'invoice' they sent confirmed my credit note. Absolute rubbish. It was clearly asking for money payable by a specific date. The words 'credit note' did not appear anywhere on their invoice. Do they think I can't read or something? How patronising can you get!
They booked me into an exam that was already full, so I had to take a different date at a different centre.
Yesterday I sent a one-line question to a tutor, only to be told that they no longer accept questions to tutors unless you buy the rip-off package. That's an extra £140 for the priviledge of sending questions by email. You cannot be serious!!!
I have so far bought 5 modules from them and every one has had some sort of problem with it. Therefore, despite the fact that their products are actually quite good, I will definately be going with someone else from now on.
A nightmare. I also had a bad experience with them. Lost a cheque I delivered in person, forgot to inform me of dates for lectures, sent rude demand notes for mones paid or not owing. Never again, avoid them like the plague.
