This BP has a good selection of newspapers and magazines, as well as snacks and drinks. I stop in here for papers and odds and ends, and the occasional bottle of wine. This station has a carwash and vacuum, though the vacuum is often broken (missing hose, etc). You should note though, this station is just around the corner from an ASDA petrol station, which -always- has petrol at 1p cheaper, often 2 or 3.
The associated garage is owned by separate people, as best I can tell. They do decent repairs, but are not the friendliest people around. Unless it's very convenient, I'd suggest going elsewhere unless you enjoy being patronised and talked down to. Likewise for the BP station itself, it's great for grabbing a few items and a few litres. But, unless you prefer to pay 2p more for what is less about 1/8 of a mile down the road, you should just head elsewhere for your petrol-only stops.
