It was along by Fulham Broadway, he had wavy dirty blonde shortish hair. He had the phone he was using either to dial or text with at the bottom of his steering wheel so it could not obviously be seen by another car driver. This meant that he was looking down.
He probably didn't notice me which is unsurprising ... ...have tried contacting BSM for the correct procedure to complain, but have had no response to my emails so far.
He should have been setting a better example.
How other people are supposed to stop using theirs while driving if he can't then what hope do we have. ... more

I though it would be better if I pass my theory test before taking any driving lessons.
Once have I passed the theory test, I started looking for cheapest driving lessons in East London area. I found one Level 6 private driving instructor with more than 20 years of driving experience. He charged £170 for 10 lessons. I thought - it will save me lots of money and I won't have to take more than 15 lessons as I am very quick learner.
- Yeah right!!! I spent 17 hours/lessons driving stright ahead in quiet residential roads sometimes turning into the roads. The problem was that my driving instructor wanted to get as much £££ out of me as possible.
Not only he would not teach me any monouvers, he would not let me do anything appart from driving stright trying to brainwash me that I am not ready for anything else yet!

Advantages: Customer friendly, patient and on time! Disadvantages: Nil.
Vauxhall Coursa which is extreamly comfortable and very easy to drive.
He charges £10 first 5 hours and £14 thereafter inc. weekends.
For an instructor in NW London this is very high value for money as most others are charging in the region of £16-£25 (AA, BSM etc). ...

, etc IN THE CORRECT ORDER. Since there was some problem with my simulator, I spent nearly 15 minutes each lesson checking and re-checking the brakes and gears.
SECOND BIG MISTAKE.
BSM - Motorbikes. I was toying with the idea at the time of also learning to ride a scooter. I called up BSM and booked a date in Bristol. (I live in London but have a friend there I could stay with).
The only scooter in Bristol was not available on the day that I booked. I was instead booked on a geared bike, which the operator assured me was exactly like a scooter.
YEAH, RIGHT.
A geared bike, I now know, is a HUGE monster of a bike with gears that I have to try to operate. I'm only a short female. I had difficulties even getting the bike off the brake stand.
