BT Diverse 5110

Ive got four of these little beauties, I won them along with the TVS I got. They are easy to use, you unwrap them plug the wires in and hey presto its as simple as that. The phone doesnt feel solid in your hand, feels a bit on the fragile side, but it sure isnt it. I have a 2 year old daughter and she likes to make the handsets fly every now and again. I bought the BT Diverse 5110 Twin from a local 'catalogue' store for our office. Having previously worked for BT and enjoyed my time there, I think my decision to buy a product of theirs was a 'loyalty issue'. This was easy to setup and worked great for the first week, then things started to go wrong... First, the ringer went very faint, upon calling BT for advice they told me it was because of the large amount of electrical equipment near the fones (!) As many of you know, my home is largely maroon coloured. This isn't a problem until you come to buy a new gadget or appliance. But why oh why is this fine fine phone only available in black? (correct at time of writing) Otherwise it really is great.
