The Bt Diverse X10 is a good solid phone the battery life is very good and the caller display is lit up so you can see the name and number of the person who is calling you.
the disadvantages i found are that the sound volume is not very good some times you can hardly hear the caller on the other end, and can be a bit noisy on occasion, it may be due to the quality and distance of the line!

The contents were 1x Diverse X10 base, 2 Diverse X10 handsets, 1 Diverse X10 Charger, 2 Mains Power Adapters, 4x AAA Rechargable Batteries, 1x telephone line cord, 2x Belt Clips,, 2x battery Compartment covers, 1x base Plinth, User Guide Booklet.
the Main Phone sits in a larger Grey base and the 2nd phone sits in a slightly smaller Grey Base which are reasonably stable. Both phones are identical and have Buttons 1 to 9 as well as the usual # & *. You can scroll through the menu options with the up/down button, recall button for use with switchboards, and there is also a secrecy button.
these Phones can store up to 50 name and numbers, up to 20 entry calls, 5 last number redial, has ringer melody and volume controls, keyguard lock, battery low indicater, up to 10 hours talktime and up to 120 hours standby. and are gap compatible. You can take the phone out in the garden as they have a range of up to 300 ft.
the instruction book is very comprehensive and takes you step by step through setting up the phones and how to use all the functions. i found it really easy to set the phones up.

On the whole they are a good practical phone and i would reccomennd the Bt Diverse x10 to potential buyers.

Hmm, mixed review this one . . .
BT I hate. But then again i hate the BBC and Marks & Spencers , or any old fashioned business who think they don't have to do anything because customers will just use their products because it's BT. Well your wrong!
The BTDiverseX10 is a nice compact home phone, digital cordless, which means that there's no crackling or loss of signal when walking around. It works brilliantly. I've had BT phones for many years, and they have always been robust and great.
It's a shame about the rubber buttons though, there a bit too squidgy, and easy to mis-dial. And the "you can now text your home phone" feature sounds great . . . but you need a SIM in your home phone, on a tariff, so if your paying for a SIM tariff, then just have a mobile phone, instead of two phones!
The address book holds over 250 ...
