I am very please with this twin phone must say i have found it very easy to set up and to use, the user guide hand book sets out everything in a straightforward manner and is easy to refer back to.
I was able to set up my caller names list in the names directory without any help from my family,and to call someone from your list you just press te names button on the handsetand the list comes up,then scroll down to the name that you wantand press the call button it calls with no problems at all.
I like the large colour screen and the ease of being able to send a text message from this phone,but you cannot send a premium rate text as BT don't allow this service as yet so i was very disappointed because i text a lot to enter competitions on the TV and online,so it means that i still have to use my mobile phone for this facility.
You can choose a special ring tone for your family members and you can select to have their names come up on the screen so that you know who is calling you before you answer the call. you can copy the name list from your mobile phone from it's sim card , simply remove it from your mobile phone look at the users guide to select this function and then slip the sim into the base of the main phone, and copy it will tell you what to do on the screen and then all your mobile phone names will be on both of your handsets in no time.
The phone has a good range of calling and it will beep if you go out of the 300 metre range to let you know,i always keep one handset in my pocket so when i'm at home i don't miss any calls, it als has a loadspeakerand volume control so you can turn it up if you are hard of hearing like me, just follow the instructions in the hand book for this, another useful feature is you can turn the ringer off at night time if you keep the 2nd handset in the bedroom as i do, so you will not be woken up in the night.the main base phone is in my study.
To turn the ringer off at night or whenever just press the star button on the handset and hold a message will come up on the screen saying ringer off and it bleeps at you, to put it back on again just press and hold the star button and a message will say ringer on and a further bleep to confirm.
I would recommend this phone to anyone , i have only owned it for a few months but i am very satisfied with it and it's the best phone that i have ever had.
