BT Equin 1200

This phone was given to me as an apology from BT for not supplying me with a Hub Phone due to increased demand, which i was told would be dispatched to me in 6 weeks! *Note - 4 weeks later my Hub Phone arrived* I was thrilled at the idea of getting a freebie especialy since the phone i was currently using was a cheap and nasty phone that i had borrowed from a work colleage in which the 1 and 3 buttons on the keypad did not registar. I decided it was time to start changing my trusty BT Diverse range and adventure out into the world of the colour screen. The range of phones I use are DECT (digitally enhanced communication technology) and GAP compatible, being GAP means that I can buy any other GAP compatible phone and register it to either my main handset base or register any of my additional handsets to a GAP compatible base unit.. This review is based on the purchase price of £80. If you can get it cheaper by the time you read this (say £40-£50) then you will have a bargain. This phone is like a mobile phone, and has as good quality sound as a decent mobile, with good range. It is light and small and the loud speaker is okay. The buttons are a bit small and not the most easy to press especially the central cursor which I always press wrongly, but the menus are simple and you can customise background pics and polyphonic ring tones to display (or ring) upon specific calls from either certain people or groups. This is a little beauty of a phone. It has all the main features as a mobile. Its shape is better than most other phones in that it is easy to grip and does not easlity slip from your hands. Its easy to use SMS service keeps you in touch with everyone and its colour screen is clear to see. Your friends will give good comment on this phone as my friends do. The menu screen is easy to get around where you can store many names and numbers, play games, choose background screens and send SMS.
