BT Freestyle Telephones (520+)
Advantages Ease of use + Gret extra functions
Disadvantages None
If you are looking for a good quality telephone system that you can move around the house with, maybe this is the answer you're looking for.
As far as i know you can purchase the Freestyle system in 2 or 3 different colours, but that isn't really the important part.
Your basic kit is a base station phone that you can either wall mount or traditionally rest on a surface. It is quite a stylish looking phone and so fits in well with most furniture. Feature wise it has a number memory system - intercom buttons - networking facilities and a good clear display so you can view the number your dialling.
The next part of the system is the Freestyle handset, you can use at least 2 of these with the base possibly more.
Now these handsets are great, I've actually used mine at the far end of my garden, some 100 meters away from the base unit, No Problem. Also they are very advanced and change the frequency about 6 times every second so unlike the older type freestyle people with scanners can't listen in. Finally with the portable handsets, you have a choice with or without a display but in both instances you still have all the same facilities of the base unit including intercom and transferring a call from phone to phone.
Great value, Great quality.
