Advantages: nice big buttons, confortable to hold Disadvantages: low battery life, poor reception
...Although this phone was relatively easy to set up, its overall performance was very poor, I brought this phone for my eldery mum(due to the large buttons) and the base was in the hall, but frequently if you were in the lounge, it would drop reception, ands you'd have to go back into the hall, put the telephone back on the base again.The whole point of it was so my mum didn't have to keep getting up for the telephone.
The buttons were super to use and the phone was very easy to use, quite disappointingly though the battery life didn't seem to last very long ands it spent more time on the base than off.
you would think being BT you are buying a good trustworthy product,but i think in the case of this telephone, I think BT got it wrong....

I was told that the phone is classy and that it is easy to use all around the house but to my disappointment i have found that if i use the phone upstairs the volume isa very down and the line does start crackling. I have found this phone a waste of money and not at all value for money. The phone does not offer much, When I had bought the phone home i was shocked to find that all it had offered was a phonebook. you can also change the ringing tone and volume but i am still very dissatisfied with the product. My previous cordless phones have been a lot cheaper to buy and had offered a lot more features. In my experience i have found that the phone did not meet my expectations at all and i will definatley think twice before purchasing another Bt phone again. If for some reson you feel...

Bt, british telecom are well known for their high standards in the telephone and broadband industry. I was very happy with my old bt phone, it had all the features one could ask for CALLER DISPLAY, cordless, extensive phone book, secrecy, last call and redial buttons along with 'int' - intercom to communicate from one handset to the other - used to transfer calls as well.
- the twin set cost me £35 and the single would've cost £19 from Argos.
I did some hunting around and found the BtFreestyle 3200 was the same price (£35) in currys. The reason i didnt get this newer model is because its design is hideous compared to the sleek, slim and overall attractive appearance of the large keys Bt Studio handsets.
