I was recently talking to a celebrity friend of mine about getting a new mobile phone and changing my mobile service provider and was surprised to find out that he had never heard of BT Mobile Sense! Have you? No? Well, let me tell you a few things about it then :-) I just hope they make ... sense :o) Mobile Sense is the name of BT's mobile phone service. The service uses the O2 mobile network and its unique selling point is that there are no set packages (tariffs) that you have to subscribe to, you just select the amount of time you'll be spending on calling landlines and mobiles and the ... more

-------------------------------------------- THE AMAZING OFFER! ------------------------------------------- I was Easter shopping this weekend in the centre of Newcastle and thought I might get something for my younger brother in the Discovery shop (similar to the gadgetshop and right next to phones4u) I had a look and saw nothing, so with my mind completely boggled after 3 hours of shopping I decided to look in phones4u, just quickly with no intent to buy (to pick a phone for my birthday present.) As I was looking around one of the members of staff approached me, who kindly started to assist ... more

I joined BT Mobile in the fall of this year, attracted by their offer of a FREE Motorola V600 on a £19.99 per month tariff for 150 anytime minutes and 50 texts. Sounds good doesn't it?? I needed to port my number over to BT Mobile from T-mobile which it stated in the advert 'this can be done in 5-7 days. Well, this is where all the trouble started - read on! It took me THREE months to finally be able to contact someone to port over the number. I only managed this by complaining loads of times via e-mail to BT. You cannot get hold of anyone at the call centre to port your number over. If you ... more

I'm going to keep this review short. I was told to do various research for my father into a phone offer from BT-Mobile compared to his current T-Mobile powered handset. T-Mobile is extremely expensive whereas BT offered a lower pricing option- £9.99 p/m compared to T-Mobile's ~£70 p/m! When we approached T-Mobile about this they offered us a significantly better handset than BT's handset (which was lower in terms of features than his current phone). Ringing BT to see if they had any other better handsets on offer proved useless (1) we were patched through to residential by accident - TWICE ... more
