...my husband found this the BT Studio 1100 Twin in Argos at a sale price of just under thirty pounds, and after a quick check that I could use a BT phone on a non-BT line, he bought it. We've been using these phones for about six months now, without any problems and now I'm going to tell you all about them.
---The Styling---
These are not the smallest cordless phones I've ever seen, but they are a reasonable size at about 6 inches long (about the ... ...£39.95 both from Argos and BT direct. They are available in both silver and white colour schemes (the silver does look the best).
---Final Words---
These phones are wonderful, they do exactly what a phone is supposed to, that is allow me to make and receive phone calls. They look reasonably smart, and seem very durable, and although there are no fancy features, they really aren't needed. The price is also very reasonable, and therefore I'm going ...

Advantages: Easy to use - Looks stylish Disadvantages: Doesn't have the latest BT features
...but we decided for the BT STUDIO 1100 Twin. The phones are silver and very slim. They both come with their respective lithium rechargable batteries and instructions to set them up. Two bases. The main one is a bit bigger than the second one but can be accomodated anywherein the house. Our main one is on a window ledge. That gives you the idea of how small they are. Both bases have a mains adaptor which means that they will have to be set up near ... ...not able to use my BT allowance of 100 txt messages per month, and something I found really annoyoing but that happens with most twins, you have to record your directory numbers twice, one on each handset. I hope we will soon able to copy number from one handset to the other like mobile phones do.
It's an economical phone, given that it's BT, and so far I haven't had any problems whatsoever. Sound is good, ringtones do the job and both the ringtone ...

Advantages: Simple to use, pleasant looks Disadvantages: Lack of synchronisation
...purchased my twin pack of BT Studio 1100 about 3 months ago. The cordless phone we had required a battery and we were in need of a cordless phone downstairs. The BT studio 1100 twin was good looking and reasonably priced at between £45 - £50.
The phones are DECT phones meaning that although there are two handsets (and chargers / bases) on the primary unit requires a connection to a telephone socket although both need to be plugged into a power point.
... ...the battery into each handset, plug in the relevant leads and they can be used. The phone has a quite a good feature set including caller display, internal calling and an internal phone directory which is easy to set up. It also allows you to browse the last set of calls you received and get information such as whether the call was answered or not and the time and date of the call. To me there is only one downside to the phones and that is the lack ...
