BT synergy 4500 is a nice cordless phone with a lot of features. Actually I think that the laws of diminishing returns has caught up with me with the ordinary mobile phones so I have to this time give another phone brand a try so on doing so I bought this. it also has a great feature that is an answering machine without display of calling numbers and also the presence of loud speakers.
The cordless phone has served quite long for about a month although I decided to learn the features before putting it down in the review. Well what will I say about the phone much apart from the techies in it.
Unlike the ordinary mobile phones that seem lighter the BT synergy has a more heavy weight and I think that the battery contributed to the weight of the phone. The charger is a large plastic that has a big hole where the phone is being fixed for the battery charge.
It also has a black shiny colour with 12 buttons at the central the power and pick up call buttons has a silver colour.
Does not have any camera features but I don't even mind all I want from the phone is the call and receive functions. One thing that I have to state out about the ordinary mobile or camera phone is this it really has a lot of techies that actually makes the phones a less device for communication. In the case of this cordless phone, it actually gives you the business mindedness because it contains fewer features for pleasure.
KEY FEATURES. It has a digital cordless tele with 255 name and number memories and also has up to 10 hours talking time.
It also has up to 100 hours stand by and 50-call log with 10 polyphonic ring tones and also 10 monophonic ring tones (5 on base and 5 on hand set). It also has 20 last number redial that you can use to recall the 20 last calls that is very fantastic.
Speakerphone is also available and ringer volume control hand set and base with 11 minute answering machine.
It also has a call timer and 4-line blue illuminated display.
SMS text facility present with a clock and alarm.
2 X nimh AAA batteries supplied and the battery last very long.
One major feature I like In this phone device is the present of sim card reader and writer. MY VERDICT. Well I took on the decision of this phone for one reason that is for a serious note. Well the phone I bought it at the price of 59.99 pounds that is not bad I think. Heavy phone that has a different battery charge system from the ordinary mobile phones. The 15 ringer melodies present makes it a phone you can equally enjoy in terms of sound play back. One thing I have to say about the cordless phone is that it is a phone that wont be loved by every one especially the youth and also the ordinary mobile phone has an advantage over it and that is the weight the ordinary mobile phone can be taken every where comfortably do to its lightness but this cordless synergy is heavy and does not seem comfortable when put in a pocket. I will recommend this cordless phone to those who intend to be serious with phones so I don't think that every body just like I mentioned above will love this phone.
