Okay, so the Synergy range is not the most attractive telephone in the world, but hey, it's a phone, what did you expect? I bought mine from John Lewis when it was on offer, and all of them seemed pretty ugly to be honest. The Synergy is an exceptionally practical telephone, with large under-lit buttons, which make it ideal for an elderly individual, since it doesn't require dexterous fingers. The battery life is not fantastic, presumably because of the back lighting, but it's not massively restrictive. The range is good (it reaches the end of my back garden anyway), and I've had the Quad for sometime now and had no durability problems, even thought the numbers are getting a bit worn, but again, they still work.
