Review of BT Freestyle 250 SMS Quad Cordless Phone System
**The Product**
This is a user friendly cordless home phone system which in my opinion, is an excellent product for upgrading from a 'corded' phone. Cordless phones make it possible to make and receive calls in and around the house, rather than limiting users to a phone attached to a socket.
You do not need any extra phone socket wiring for the additional handsets and the system is simple and fairly easy to use. The phones are comfortable to hold and the range is very good. The buttons are easy to use and for the price this system is very good.
I paid in the region of £65 for the system from Amazon, around 15 months ago.

The BT "Studio 3100" quad pack telephones is a package of four phones that retails around £65 which is espescially great value for a package of four of these phones.
I bought these phone's to replace an old phone that had died. I hated tripping over the wire of my old phone so I decided that cordless was a good idea. I have had cordless in the past and had no luck with them. They would either have a terrible sound with lot's of interference or they would run through batteries so quickly that it was more hastle than what it was worth. However when I heard about the BT phone package for the four Studio 3100 I knew that they would be high quality and the price seemed very reasonable considering you are getting a pack of four. I live in a big house and when we moved here, we vowed not to have to repeat the experience we had when we moved to our home in London back in 1994 when it took a BT engineer half a day to fit three extensions to our phone point to enable us to have telephones throughout our 4 bedroom terrace house.
Technological advances of course mean all you need is adequate power points these days to have phones dotted around your home and the BT Synergy 4100 Quad set gave us four handsets we could run from one phone socket.
My late husband chose this set of handsets, a decision he made based on price rather than anything else. He saw them for sale in Currys for £89.99 which was an excellent price at the time for four handsets. I would have preferred to spend a little more for Panasonic or Phillips handsets but moving house isn't cheap so I fully ...
